Originally I chose Dr. Chernofsky for a second opinion concerning my condition. The good doctor is extremely knowledgeable, always had time for a question, and so thankful that I chose her perform my surgery instead. Love the staff, and if I had a question, could get a response within an hour or two, not have to wait 2-3 days.

I cannot recommend Dr. Chernofsky highly enough. She is compassionate, energetic and positive in thoroughly explaining all procedures and possible outcomes. I was never rushed and had enough time to ask the questions that concerned me. Dr. Chernofsky's medical skill, personal warmth and sense of humor made a difficult time far easier. Her obvious enthusiasm for medicine and concern for her patients shows clearly that she is a doctor who truly loves what she does. I was very fortunate to have found her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - you are a gem!

Had laparoscopic complete hysterectomy September 2014. I would echo the previous positive reviews, and agree that she is amazing! Thorough, spends plenty of time ensuring that you you understand everything, staff is helpful and goes above and beyond, and follow-up was fine. Only complaint is that nurse who is supposed to answer calls for non urgent matters is only part time.

Dr. Chernofsky is absolutely amazing. She is incredibly knowledgable and takes much time to explain thoroughly your diagnosis, studies and steps moving forward that are needed. She follows up, makes sure your tests are set up and walks you all the way through everything. She exudes passion and sensitivity. You are in excellent hands with Dr. Chernofsky - she is definitely someone I would highly recommend for anyone in need of a gynecological oncologist/surgeon. She is thorough, caring and was the first person that was able to make me smile after being diagnosed with cervical cancer.

Dr. Chernofsky operated on me in 2012. I had ovarian cysts. I asked if the surgery could be done laparoscopically and Dr. Chernofsky firmly said "no". She therefore cut me from hip to hip. A year later the cysts (complex) were back and this time I had done my homework and knew that this could be taken care of laparoscopically. I found a competent surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive surgery and now only have two tiny (visible)scars from that surgery, despite the extensive work that was done (mainly due to the scarring from Dr. Chernofsky's surgery). Every single gynecologist (and other specialists) I have been to since my surgery with Dr. Chernofsky have told me that the surgery could have been done laparoscopically. Oh, and she's extremely arrogant. And that's fine with me if you really know your stuff -- but clearly this doc. does not.

Excellent Doctor. Dr. Chernofsky is very knowledgeable, she explains your condition in a way that is easy to understand, allows the patient time to ask questions. She exudes confidence and rightly so she is an excellent surgeon, that happens to possess a great bed side manner. Her concern for her patients before and post surgery is unbelievable and refreshing. Definitely a Rock Star Doctor!

Explains every detail. Is concerned about physical and mental stability of patient. Allows body to heal with minimal medication. Demands physically activate patients allow their body to heal before going back to the gym!!! But, under no circumstances are you allowed to just sit and do nothing. It is easier said than done for me, but I am glad she keeps me on track!!
