Dr (LTC) Markell is very knowledgeable and makes sure you fully understand the problem you are experiencing. She takes as much time as is needed to thoroughly listen to all of your concerns and addresses all of them so you leave feeling that she will always have your best interest in mind. Dr Markell understood the urgency of the issue I was having and within a week I was in the OR for a diagnostic procedure in which she located the source of the problem and began fixing it right then. After surgery she explained the road to recovery I will be going through and although it is not going to be a walk in the park she made me feel like I will be in good hands throughout the whole process. The only downside is wait times can be a little long but that is always to be expected at a military hospital.
