DR LILLY HAS ZERO COMPASION, ACTS AS IF YOU OR YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IS A LAB RAT AND IF THINGS GO WRONG UNDER HIS WATCH OH WELL. STAY AWAY FROM DOCTOR LILLY HE DOES NOT MONITOR YOU OR DO THE PROPER TESTING. EVEN IF HE THINKS AND KNOWS SOMETHING IS WRONG HE DISMISSES IT. DR LILLY CAUSED MY MOTHERS DEATH AND HAD NO REMORSE JUST COLD HEARTED!

Refused my GP's referral, claiming he 'only does research' now. Yet obviously still has a clinical practice. Why not tell the truth and just say you're not taking on new patients?

This doctor is advocating to kill patients be denying them surgery due to their vaccination status. Shameful and disgusting. I wouldn't trust this doctor with my life considering he doesn't really care about patients unless they are vaccinated. Shameful and disgusting.

Dr. Lilly was my doctor at Toronto General before my transplant and again after my transplant. He has been thorough and advocated on my behalf with the transplant team and been essential to my health. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Lilly.

I look at the comments people have written and I question why my experience was something far different than the others. He's just quite disrespectful and not really empathetic to your situation. I guess he just takes the life for granted... I didn't know someone who screamed at a patient when they were emotional about having cancer until now.

The hospital administration got involved after I filed a complaint and he apologized...

Remarkable memory for faces. He knew me by name the second time I met him in an elevator. Always personable and prompt when coordinating with other doctors looking after me. Feel fortunate to have him following my post transplant care.

I had a liver transplant at Toronto General. Dr. Lilly was in charge of the liver transplant team. I can't express how grateful I am. He saved my life and though it was everything to me, to him it was just another day at the office. He takes it for granted that he will do everything possible to save your life. And he'll do it with compassion, kindness and a sense of humour. He is one of the best doctors ever, not just in his specialty but ever. If something is outside his specialty, he makes sure you see a specialist connected to the transplant unit; and they have specialists for almost everything. He's not averse to admitting that there may be a more qualified doctor, unlike many doctors I've met

After 6 years, my liver got diseased. I went to 2 hospitals, and they both misdiagnosed it. Fortunately, I had an appointment with Dr. Lilly, who diagnosed it and immediately put me on the transplant list. The entire hospital was stunned. "This never happens", they said. They kept me in the hospital to wait for a new liver. There were specific requirements because of my previous transplant. When a liver became available, one of Dr. Lilly's surgeons went, personally, to excise the liver. On his day off. This is how dedicated Dr. Lilly's team is.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Lilly, Brenda (my coordinator), his team and Toronto General. If you want to live, go to Toronto General
