Biography
Dr. DeMordaunt believes that the best medical care begins with listening to and understanding his patient'€s medical story. He values educating his patients about management options and personalizing their treatment plan so he can guide each patient along the road to recovery.He takes pride in assisting patients of all ages resume activity after an injury. Dr. DeMordaunt is board certified in three areas - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Sports Medicine, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (EMG) - enabling him to provide comprehensive, non-surgical care for his patients. He is an expert in treating spine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, foot, concussion, arthritis, and nerve injuries. He also performs advanced spine and pain procedures and ultrasound guided peripheral injections.Dr. DeMordaunt loves sports medicine and assists local high schools as a sideline physician. He'€s helped train many sports medicine and primary care physicians and was a team physician for Virginia Commonwealth University and a ringside physician for the National Kickboxing Championships.
