Had visit for consult. Told me he could "fix" all my problems. 99 - 100% they promised. They'll treat me like family they promised. Took off work and scheduled the surgery. The night before they called at 7:30, left me a voice mail they had to cancel after I went 50 miles across town to do the pro-op lab. Then I see on their internet page they scheduled their office Christmas party the day my 11 hour surgery was scheduled. I lost 2 weeks pay because I could not be rescheduled. finally had surgery and had 8 discs fused. They removed the IV pain medications after 2 days and kicked me out of the hospital after 4 days. I could hardly walk, was passing out when I stood up and no one cared. e got his $16,000 from my insurance company. No pain meds. Had to take an ambulance to go to Dr. McKee. Shamefu. How could you treat someone like this. Then after they have done your surgery, they never let you see dr. cyr again. To top it off they scheduled my "PT with a chiropractor. Illegal!!

This is not a review of Dr. Cyr himself. I saw two PAs for two visits. First PA quit after my visit. I met another PA for my second visit. I needed a pain med for my herniated lower disk and neck. Was told he cannot prescribe a med without MRI. My MRI was only 13 months old and the first PA ordered it. I said I do not feel safe to have the second MRI so soon. He said I should take Aleve and Tylenol, and sent me home. I wrote a complaint to their office for not getting any help. Then “clinic office manager” called me to justify that they did the right thing. She was very argumentative with terrible customer service attitude. My insurance paid for the visit and I paid my co-pay, and I got absolutely nothing. I hear doctors make money by ordering procedures and lab works. This clinic is not for me.

Dr Cyr is the best surgeon in the world!! He is incredible and if your back can be fixed he is the man to trust to do it. I had 3 failed back surgeries and numerous useless pain management procedures that just made me worse. After 7 yrs of extreme pain I met Dr. Cyr and Eloy his NP. I was in surgery w/in 6 weeks and after cleaning up the prior surgeons messes they did a 4 level 360 lumbar fusion in 4/2011. Their office staff is just mediocre and you may have to wait a long time for your appt, but Dr Cyr and Eloy have done everything that they promised and have treated me like family. Recovery is a long process. My pain level is sooo much better now. I can walk and sit again. I Thank God everyday for Dr Cyr and Eloy. I am sorry to read about the comment from the workercomp patient because it is not Dr Cyr's fault he can't accept worker comp anymore. He would help every patient if he could. He is a very special, talented and gifted surgeon and a good person to boot. THANK YOU Dr Cyr!!!

I have had 4 surgeries from other orthopedic doctors, each making me worse. I was referred to Dr. Cyr as a great doctor. At the time, he accepted Workman's Comp. During my appointments, I spoke almost always with his FNP. Oh the promises they made. They are the guys that fix the mistakes of all the other doctors. The other doctors hate them, but they don't care. They did some testing and discovered I had a failed 3-level fusion. They showed me on the MRI and explained how they would do the surgery. Every visit was filled with encouragement and how they would make me a new man. They could remove 80% of my pain. Needless to say, I was overjoyed! Then Dr.Cyr got deployed for a few months. When he came back, I called to ask about a routine refill for pain medicine. The receptionist then hit me in the head: "Oh by the way, Dr.Cyr isn't taking Workman's Comp anymore." They claimed they would refer me out, but never did. They just dropped me. I sit here with a broken back and no help.
