Dr. Cyr and team are amazing! I was so scared about needing back surgery but he was so knowledgeable and considerate and made me feel like family. My surgery went smooth. It has been 4 years and I am doing great.

There are certain moments in life when it's clear God has chosen certain people and they have been divinely gifted. Dr. Cyr is one of those vessels I feel honored to recommend, because this review is one of those moments for me. Being referred and choosing Dr. Stephen Cyr to perform my 2-level spinal fusion and connecting it into a preexisting surgical fusion making it 3 levels in all, I am extremely grateful and humbled. I had already initially chosen another surgeon who aborted my surgical case due to misjudgment of anatomy. My wife and I did not feel comfortable moving forward with that surgeon. Enter Dr. Stephen Cyr....

I have never been treated by a doctor or Surgeon who is so well respected and admired, by both patients’ colleagues alike. He is very caring and compassionate, and it comes across in every aspect of His practice.

I just want to add as a Veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, I had received an authorization approval to have The Department of VA pay all expenses with Zero deductible out of my pocket, by choosing one of their in-network spine specialists. First time I met Dr. Cyr I felt like I saw an angel or a saint. After talking to him, I already trusted him with my life because of his kind demeanor. I had this feeling that he is the answer to my prayers. Dr. Cyr is an extra ordinary, excellent, top of the line in so many ways. I suffered from back pains for so many years and tried everything there is to help with my back problem but nothing worked, until I found Dr. Cyr and PA Paul Chen who helped me tremendously. I had my surgery in June and recovering right now but I am already feeling a HUGE difference. I live in Corpus Christi and had to travel to San Antonio to be treated, but it's so worth it. I truly believe that Dr. Cyr and PA Paul Chen are my angels. Thank you so much for the awesome job that you both do!

This Man saved my life! I had very bad scoliosis. I had, had 10 failed surgeries before, leaving me with what Dr. Cyr called "failed back syndrome"! I was very discouraged, still in pain and very close to being in a wheel chair. I found my "Miracle Worker" in this Dr. Not one previous Dr. would address the curves, or S's in my spine. They would only do discs and some fusions, but never worked on the curves that were crippling me more every day! Dr. Cyr, worked his magic. Surgery was 22 hours long, but today I have a straight back! I thank Dr. cyr and his team of PA's who were by my bedside every day! Give this man a chance if you are leery of surgical outcomes or just need a friend to talk to PM me and I will give you my number! Sometimes people need a support group, especially when you are about to jump off into a surgery you may be scared of! I'm available all the time! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cyr and his team! They are awesome. I give them 5 out of 5 stars!

Great Doctor! I had major problems with my back upper and lower. Neck - I had numbness in my arms and hands (FIXED) In my low back L-3 to S-1 it was so bad I had lost the use of my left leg. I can now use my left leg as normal. I still have some low back pain (2) on a scale 1-10. 10 being the worst. Over all I would say 95% improvement, still having therapy done 6 months after surgery. Great Job Dr Cyr and staff.

When I tell you to put your back in this doctors blessed hands I mean it. My wife had two back surgeries prior to Dr Cyr. After being referred to Dr Cyr our lives changed. From the first meeting we were sold. He is truly a blessing, simply because he's passionate about what he does and cares for the well being of his patients. I've recommended him to others who are suffering with back pain. Dr Cyr, you we thank God for you. Keep up the awesome work. I have been a patient since 2017...I had neck surgery and currently obtaining lower back pain management treatment and physical therapy...I would rank SASPINE #1 in San Antonio!!....Leading the SASPINE family is Dr. Cyr, please see my written testimony below...Also post surgery care was also exceptional...PA Paul Chen was on target for all recommended treatments for post surgery and current treatments (i.e. injections and MRIs etc)...Again I'm currently receiving physical therapy and is lead by Marcus Trejo and PT technician Kristina Guiteau...Marcus provides outstanding and professional treatment and goes out of the way to get you back on the road to recovery and to improve the quality of life...Great team!!...On the administrative side I like to recognize Maria Cortez (Paniagua), she ensures the right insurance coverage is correct and current, very professional and it carries over to the all front desk staff...Also Kevin Hoecke was instrumental on taking care of all my pre-op requirements and ensured I had all the right equipment was ordered and on hand after my surgery...Overall I rate this organization 5 star rating.

Every day I am a walking, active referral and testimonial to the incredible skill of this man and his staff. He is the ONLY place I will ever reccomend ever to anyone in pain or with nor only spine but ortho issues. Dr. Cyr’s Dynamics and values are Amazing. I lived and endured Pain for 30+ years from the waist down, even after 3 other major surgeries.
In September of 2018, Dr. Cyr and his phenomenal team performed a 2 stage Anterior/Posterior Lumbar fusion, L3-S1.
I went for my 9 month follow up Friday and was able to report a ZERO on the pain scale. I never thought I would be able to say that.
I think the toughest part of this little journey was giving in to surgery again.
I am blessed beyond measure to have crossed paths with Dr. Cyr, he has the ultimate skill and knowledge I needed to be free. Add to that his wonderful bedside manner, and a complete & Unique plan for my challenges brings this experience full circle and is life changing.
Time to strengthen my muscles and enjoy life.
