My name is Eddie Curran. I've seen some of the comments and it's as if they've seen a different doctor than the one I've been seeing for going on 15 years. I suspect people with complaints are more likely to "rate their doctor." I love Dr. Alvarado. When my son was in town, he saw him. My father, who is 91, now sees him. I consider him highly knowledgeable, friendly, interested in me as a patient and as a person, and all his nurses have been great, as well as responsive, such as to requests on the practice website. I can't imagine changing doctors, and consider him a friend as well as a doctor.

I had the worst experience with this doctor. He couldn't tell me what my diagnosis was but he was quick to put me on a prescription of steroids. I came in for a swollen sore throat and a fever of 102. He didn't even acknowledge my throat pain and when I asked him what each medication was for he just said I had an infection. I could have told myself that. He was also extremely rude to me. I'm going to have to go for a second opinion because my symptoms have only worsened since the visit. I highly recommend people avoid Making appointments with this man

If you are looking for a doctor with a good bedside manner and cares about your health issues please skip this doctor. Everytime you tell him of an issue you are having he blows it off. I had blood work done and went back to his office the next month for a monthly check up. He flew through the results without adequate attention and told me my results were all normal. A week later I got a letter in the mail saying my thyroid was underactive and I needed to take medicine. He didn't even look at the results long enough to see that there was an issue.
