Dr. Choung is a wonderful doctor. I started with Boland and he waisted my time lied to me and refused to do surgeries or procedures because I couldn't have mri on jaws . I have a condition o have to be put under anesthesia to have Mrs and you have to be awake for that type mri. Went to Dr. Choung he had all answers and did in off procedure that told him everything . He is 100% the best surgeon for maximally and oral that I have worked with. ******

My Mother Gloria Caglianone went to see Doctor Chuong he is very knowledgeable and Exclent in his profession.
We drove from Ruskin FL over the sky way easy to find.
We brought a box of doughnuts from eleate doughnuts in Suncity to show our appreciation.

I've gone to Dr. Chuong for two procedures for TMJ over the last three years. He's not the friendliest doctor, but he is extremely good at what he does. His office is an hour away, but I would definitely go back if I ever need to in the future.

Dr. Chuong is very thorough and has a dry sense of humor. He solved my jaw problem (a large growth) when others could not.

I have seen a couple doctors for TMJ including Boland and Tampa I would highly suggest seeing this doctor and he has done my surgery he actually did an amazing job,before the surgery I was not able to eat or even have a normal life after the surgery I was able to start living I was able to smile and enjoy my life again he completely saved everything about me I would never suggest anybody seeing another surgeon he is absolutely amazing he knows his job and he will answer any questions that you have.

Don't go to this doctor if you want answers because he clearly doesn't enjoy being a doctor or oral surgeon for that matter. Had an emergency call with him on the weekend--surgery was just on Friday and stitches were coming out--and he crabbily answered the phone and told me there was nothing he could do, my matter was no considered an emergency, and he basically hung up the phone. Well when you are paying top dollar for a beautiful smile, you want to ensure that your questions are answered and answered well. For the most part, patients have to take a doctor's word and know they can trust him.

I consulted this practice because they are covered by both my medical and dental insurance and I needed two procedures performed. Upon calling them initially, they said they could perform both consults on the first visit. After waiting 90 minutes for my appointment, I was allowed ONE consult, and then told to try something, which I told the physician wouldn't work. I was instructed to come back in 2 weeks and requested my second consult upon that visit, with the procedure he was giving me, in office. When I got there the second consult was still not provided. Additionally, I was told to call them in TWO WEEKS for the results of my test. They won't call me. I called in 10 days, just to check and see if the results were there. The woman on the phone, not the MD, told me to call back at my scheduled appointment time and that she couldn't tell me if the results were even in. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I arrived with the incorrect insurance information and Dr. Chuong's Staff did the research to find my correct dental insurance carrier, Amazing! Dr. Chuong advised me of my options. We discuss the options and then he did the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Chuong and his staff.
