Beware: I recommend thinking twice before investing your time or your health with this doctor. After spending 14 years under his care, delaying needed treatment while paying for unnecessary procedures (sometimes directly out of pocket, like for collagen cross linking therapy which was a waste of time & money), he finally passed me off to another doctor rather then provide the surgical care I needed to correct my vision problems. His main focus is in making as much money as he can off of his patients, and wastes your time while doing it. I’ve had to reschedule many visits after waiting well over an hour after my appointment time to see him. I ended up having to seek proper medical care from another provider.

Love the doctor and his thoroughness and explaining in plain terms what is going on with my eyes. But the wait time is consistently bad.

Ridiculous wait time. Ridiculous non-essential testing. Ridiculous co-pays for unusual drugs at Juniper Pharmacy. He is getting rich from kick backs and billing the government and insurance company for unneeded testing and procedures.
He may be knowledgeable but not worth the wait and hassle plus I don't respect how he milks the system.

Test test and more test and not one result from must have test . Will tell you ,you have dry eyes need to take drops two sets very costly I think he must get kick back from manufacturers . I had surgery and a week later was to have a follow up visit when I got there had a different Doctor not very happy service would not recommend .

Don't waste your time visit this doctor.
They will do all kind of tests for no reason just to make money will make you sit for few hours. Hope some government agency will look into their way of doing business.

We have been going to this doctor for over 12 years. I came into to see him for my cataracts which he removed and did lens implants. I am able to see better now than I could in high school 40 years ago and am no longer restricted on my drivers license. The procedure was explained to me thoroughly, it was easy and I had no problems. I recommend this to anyone who needs it. My daughter who is diabetic came in with red spots on her eyes and was treated with the most wonderful care. I was a single parent at the time and could not afford all the tests necessary but the doctor was more concerned about my daughter than about the fees (we negotiated a minimal agreed amount) and he took care of her as needed. She was able to get the necessary treatment and no longer has had this issue. His staff is very dedicated, very friendly and we have NEVER had to wait any long periods of time to see him. The previous review sounds like a disgruntled ex-employee trying to make him out to be horrible which he is anything but. My husband also now goes to him and thinks very highly of him and his practice. We have never left not having all questions answered and have never been pushed for additional unnecessary appointments as also previously indicated. Anyone who has been to his office can see all the testimonials on the wall of athletes, doctors, sports commentators, priests etc. as well as us every day citizens who have used his services and now also sing his praises. Dr. Malhotra and his staff also do missionary work annually giving to those in need right here in our town, not other countries like a lot of other well meaning docs. I challenge anyone to find a more dedicated practice than this doctor and his dedicated team. You will not be disappointed and will be happy you took the time to see the "Doctor's Doctor".

Dr. Malhotra did lasik surgery on our son. We had a very good experience with the staff and doctor. They explained everything to us and addressed all of our concerns. They were professional, friendly and we felt genuinely cared for not rushed through. Waiting time was never very long , which we greatly appreciated as we had to travel over two hours to the office. My sons vision turned out better than expected.

Dr. Malhotra did my cataract surgery and now I don't need glasses to drive or read!!! His office staff are very professional and he takes the time to explain things. Also, he has the most advanced equipment that I have ever seen at any eye doctors office.
