I seen dr. Greenfield about an stretched Achilles tendon. He did nothing for me. He squeezed my leg on my first visit after the referral and said that I need to be in a walking boot. The second visit he squeezed my leg again, said that I was still swollen. Third visit he squeezed my leg and said I could go back to work and he closed my wc case. 16 months later I had to have surgery after going to court and seeing another doctor. My suggestion is say away from this guy. At best he is a hack. And he works for consentra and mbi. And that is where he gets most of his clients. I know some have better reviews about him, but this was my experience.

This is the most important review for Dr. Greenfield that you will ever read. I was a medical student who worked very closely with Dr. Greenfield. The other very important thing is that this review is completely unbiased; I literally have nothing to gain or lose by saying any of the following. This review is to help the patients with their decision while choosing an Orthopedic Surgeon, because often times we don’t know who to trust!
Dr. Mark Greenfield, is one of the most kind, honorable, hardworking, and intelligent people I have had the privilege of working with. I have a complete hold on how he deals with patients, his office staff, and complex cases.
To speak to Dr. Greenfield’s character. This man specially dresses up, in a nice formal shirt, pants, white coat and tie every morning before clinic. The reason is not for himself, but is for his patients. He wants his patients to feel comfortable and put them at ease by presenting himself in a professional manner. He owns his own clinic and therefore is left with the difficult task of maintaining it himself. Now he has many employees under him, however this man collects his office garbage himself, he doesn’t ask anyone else to do it. This act speaks volumes of his humility and integrity. He is an orthopedic surgeon, he can delegate these tasks to whoever, however he doesn’t. Every time he meets a person, he greets them and refers to them with utmost respect using, Sir, or other respectful descriptors. His bedside manner is truly unparalleled. He treats every member in his staff with utmost respect and even thinks of them as his own family! Each member of his staff has nothing but truly good things to say about Dr. Greenfield!
To now shift focus on his actual orthopedic skill. Dr. Greenfield makes a living when he gets to operate and do surgery. This is very important because when he sees a patient, he always lays out every detail of the positives, the negatives and the hardships that the surgery will bring. He does not try to paint the surgery in a positive light so that he can make money; he looks at the patient’s best interest and then gives his professional opinion. For example, there was a case where a patient had an option to go either way, have the surgery and be fine or not have the surgery and it would still be fine, but patient would just have decreased strength. Dr. Greenfield provided every detail about pros and cons. And at the end, he recommended that the patient not have the surgery! This surgeon would rather lose out on a payday but he would never recommend to a patient something that they didn’t need in his professional opinion. When you get Dr. Greenfield as a surgeon, you get an honest person, who will tell you the situation how it is and will leave all personal gain at the door.
Lastly, Dr. Greenfield is one of the most skilled surgeon’s I have ever met! Him and his excellent PA, Alex Hall, are like Batman and Robin. They have such good teamwork! I see the side of the surgeries that the patients can never see. The problems that arise during the surgery, the difficulties etc. All I can say, is whenever Dr. Greenfield ran into a problem, he worked hard to bypass it! I saw him work with such damaged cases and perform such skilled operations that it gave those patients a fighting chance. One case was particularly difficult, he was having a hard time getting it to work. Everyone in the operating room thought it couldn’t be done, but Dr. Greenfield didn’t give up, he kept working hard, and he came out victorious! This is the resolve of his determination, excellent years of experience and skilled training! If you have an option to choose, I would look no further than this surgeon! If I needed to have something done, it would be a no brainer for me to choose him! And as I said, writing this review has no benefit to me at all! It is purely for you, the patients, who are scared and are searching for help because you’re in pain. In this world of medical disarray, Dr. Greenfield is a ray of light! Thanks for your time!

Dr. Greenfield is not only a super doctor he is a caring and personal man. He really cared about my needs and repaired my patellar tendion getting me back to work100%. I am greatful and thankful. Thank you very much.

When your injured on the job, it is a total "luck of the draw" when it comes to the Doctor you are seen by. I can tell you that Dr. Mark Greenfield is the most considerate, knowledgeable and professional Doctor I have ever had take care of me. The entire staff really does care! Feel very lucky if you ever have the opportunity to be a patient of Dr. Greenfield!

Dr. Greenfield is the best. He did an awesome job repairing my torn rotator cuff. I was back to being a mechanic with no restrictions two months early. He and his staff are very professional and courteous. I am extremely pleased with the entire experience.

My name is Guillermo Perez, I injured my knee in June and needed to have surgery. Dr. Greenfield's knowledge and experience gave me the confidence to go through surgery. Sarai, Ana and Alex(the P.A.) were very nice and helpful after my surgery. Dr. Greenfield did an excellent job and I was back to work with no restrictions in 3 months. Dr. Greenfield was treating me for a frozen right shoulder, He suggested that I try waiting it out to see if it would thaw on its own - took nearly 9 months - but it did! No manipulation under anesthesia needed!

Dr Greenfield and his entire staff gave me excellent care. He performed an ACL replacement on my right knee. The entire process went smoothly from diagnosis to surgery and all throughout rehab. I am excited to hike and resume all my normal activities. I recommend him for sure.
