Dr Waud is rude, demeaning, and insulting, incredibly arrogant, and of very little help. She thinks she is better than you. She does not even want to hear the patients voice, thoughts, or concerns. She treats the patient as if they are absolutely stupid. t. She was unprofessional in that she spoke negatively of the referring physician.

Inflexible and uninterested in patients needs or experience. One of the most disappointing Dr's with whom I've ever interacted . Find a better endocrinologist. She may be smart but she is arrogant in the extreme. She does not express any concern for your actual well being. Oddly, the two Appts I've had with her she was 20 and 30 minutes late .

I have been going to Dr Wayd for 7 years and I love her. She is blunt, honest, and knowledgeable. Just what I need. She isnt there to coddle me. She is there to care for me, and she does it perfectly. No complaints.

Dr. Waud refuses to treat transgender patients, and will not do so much as order testosterone and estradiol labwork for us, which is very much an everyday task for an endo. She cancelled the appointment I made three months prior and I was never notified. Because of this, one could claim it was a clerical error so no discrimination suit could be made. Her staff was nice enough but would not listen to my requests. Because I never got my appointment I must giver her an average punctuality rating.

I understand what people are talking about when they speak of her bedside manner. I went with my husband and she didn't give me a great first impression. She does talk very fast and seems like she is in a rush. One could get the impression she is condescending. Having said that my husband liked her right away. He said she is to the point but she did still joke with us and smiled. Also when we called the office later that night they patched us through to her house and she said she was glad I felt comfortable calling. She said many people don't and she was comforting and nice. She also asked us to call her even if we felt it was trivial. Hardly uncaring! Honestly I think she is a misunderstood personality and let's face it there are so few endocrinologists she has to hurry through questions to help the giant backlog of people. Just be prepared for it.

I have been a patient of Dr Waud for over 10 years with type 2 diabetes. I believe she is competent in her field and keeps abreast of the science. Having said that I have never been greeted by name in the over ten years I have been her patient. Unless you have your blood sugars under excellent control she tends to be short and abrupt with you. Patients are usually somewhat uneasy going to any medical appointment and she makes it worse. I have mentioned it to my PCP and he said he had heard that before. 15 minutes with her costs $286.00. I hope she reads these evaluations and takes them into consideration but I don't hold out much hope.

I've been a patient of Dr. Waud's since 1997 and she is a great doctor. I am a type 1 diabetic and also have Thyroid disease. She is a little rough but stresses the importance of caring for oneself. I refuse to see a pcp because she is the best!

It is obvious from the second that Dr. Waud enters the room, she thinks she is better than you. There is absolutely no room for asking questions. She does not even want to hear the patients voice, thoughts, or concerns. She treats the patient as if they are absolutely stupid and she is all knowing. She is rude, demeaning, and insulting, incredibly arrogant, and of very little help. When you try to explain something, she immediately shuts you down. She will tell you that what you are telling her is not true. While doing a physical exam, she looked in my mouth and asked if I saw a dentist regularly. When I said that I do, she rudely told me that I have poor hygiene. (I had just had my wisdom teeth out days earlier and still was having difficulty brushing.) She will do anything to insult the patient in order to make herself feel superior. You will leave the room feeling beaten down and like your whole day has been ruined by a ten minute appointment.

Bedside manners are non-existent. Takes no time to explain concepts, conditions or even outcomes. Certainly punctual, but not apparently willing or able or even respective of patient condition or concerns.

I am being treated for osteoporosis and am taking Vitamin D supplementation for it and I am being monitored with the necessary tests. I hope that in time it will prove to be very effective in managing this condition. Dr. Waud is an excellent doctor with excellent staff. I thank them and hope that they continue to do great work for their patients.
