She is a good doctor, realized that after being her patient for 2 years and finally getting to change my lifestyle with diet and exercise. She's really nice and sweet once you get to know her. Just don't be late for her appointments

From the bottom of my heart, she is horrible. I see for about 3 minutes total and she just sends you off, the same way you came in. Dont ask questions because she'll make you feel like an idiot. She wanted to give me radiation for my thyroid but never mentioned that it would affect my ovaries. Seeing that I am young and have never bared children, another MD, thankfully stopped me from doing so. Stay away, seriously.

I agree with the other posters. Stay away from this doctor! IMO Waud was terse and gruff to the point of being rude. She did not take the time to answer any questions. During my 1st appt, she asked questions so quickly (even after asking her repeatedly to slow down) it was hard to make them out . My 2nd appt (where you get test results) was only 4 minutes!!! She had ordered tests that she didn't know how to interpret - she misdiagnosed me, which in my case was a very dangerous proposition (thankfully I found another endocrinologist who finally diagnosed me (actually starting in the right direction with Waud's tests)). Waud preferred to send me home without an answer or treatment rather than admitting her confusion and referring me to someone who could help. Also, she found out (correctly) that I was pre-diabetic, but did not offer any guidance re: lifestyle changes, etc. - not even a pamphlet. Very disappointing. Again, please do yourself a favor and stay away from this "doctor".

Dr.Waud is the only physician who is on time these days. I give her that. Like most physicians, she's very territorial and loves to terrify the patient by mentioning all the worst outcomes that can occur from their medical condition. She just missed bed side manner's class while in medical school.

This doctor was extremely rude and caustic upon entering the room. She has no cultural competancy at all and is not equipped to work with immigrants or anyone speaking english as a second language. Her tone and mannerisms were condescending and insulting. She just fired questions without giving any time for a thought and response, before getting angry and impatient. She was unprofessional in that she spoke negatively of the referring physician. She has no people skills, as she did not introduce herself, say hello, or say goodbye. She was extremely abrupt and acted as if the patient was a waste of her time. Even if she is intelligent and knowledgeable, she has no bed-side manner and no people skills, making her a very poor physician. She shows no sympathy and demonstrates no concern for the patient. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I agree with the other comments. Upon entering the room her diagnosis was already made....didn't listen or ask many questions, was rushed and was not friendly.

contrary to other opinions, i found dr.waud extremely concerned and knowledgeable. perhaps because i am a complex patient, she took extra time to cover all eventualities and concerns. that she speaks rapidly may be offputting to those with difficulty with her style, but she knows her stuff and is concerned and exceptional with her follow ups.

This doctor is so concerned with being on time that she is not interested in hearing your questions. She will rush you through your appointment.
