Dr. wade is an exceptional doctor for patients diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He is well versed and listens carefully to what you tell him. I have been with Dr. Wade for several years and have always felt confident in his care.

Dr. Wade is excellent! I first saw him after I developed optic neuritis in 2008. The retinal specialist my eye doctor referred me to dx the ON sent me for an MRI. The retinal specialist read my MRI report to me over the phone in such a flat fashion "likely a diagnosis of MS." It was terrible. I found Dr. Wade at the Mandel Center and I was obviously shaken and scared when I saw him. He spent a lot of time explaining things to me and even called me that night to see how I was doing with everything. I've never had a doctor call me at home like that to check in! It was amazingly caring of him. I gave a poorer rating on punctuality because they used to overbook him and he gives people the time they need to talk; they've since changed their practice to reserve 30 minutes per appointment so this has improved. I've never felt rushed, he explains things in as many details as I need, he's willing to try different things to help (meds, therapy, etc.) if what you're currently on isn't working well. I'm so happy to say that since 2008 I've experienced no significant disease progression. The office staff used to leave something to be desired but that's changed in recent years and it's gotten much better as they're not understaffed anymore. His medical assistants are kind and caring. I don't see Amy Neal much but the few times I have she's been very competent and responsive. I'm not sure why people are giving such low ratings except that perhaps they don't "get him." He's got a wicked sense of humor that I imagine could be somewhat off putting to some, but I love it.

Megalomaniac uses "MS" diagnosis to be hurtful and manipulative.

I would not recommend his services. He does not follow up on his patients. He recommends medications that provides a kick back. Stay away from him. He has MS, but he does not take care of his patients who have MS.

First appointment was scheduled for 45 mins. He gave me 10 mins. Interrupted me, talk over me and would not listen to my symptoms. He asked me if I ever suffered from depression, and I said yes, he stopped listening to me. The visit was over. He asked me to give him only one symptom. I have several pressing symptoms, as I was diagnosed with MS from aother Dr., not one. He got mad and coped an attitude. Would not recommend him to my worst enemy. Told me I had depression not MS. Didn't even look at my MRI

Dr. Wade is fine. His office and staff are absolutely terrible. There has been nothing easy about finding their office, booking an appointment, or even paying the bill. Their bills tell you to pay online (which is not an option) and after filling out my credit card info and mailing it to them, I received a response saying they no longer accept credit cards.

I'm in the process of switching doctors now.

My husband was referred to Dr.wade by his primary care physician for management of unsteady gate and forgetfulness. On the first visit he seemed knowlegable and experienced .we both felt we can trust him. During the follow up visits he spent very little time with him and added a new medication almost every time. He does not return phone calls and takes forever to returne pharmacy calls for prescription refills.I feel that Dr. wade is an experienced physician, but can use a little more caring and empathy for his patients
