I had a great experience with Dr. Fountis and her Healthier Weigh diet. I lost 55 pounds in three months! The diet was strict but clear. Dr. Fountis and her staff are professional, caring, supportive and knowledgeable. I would recommend this program to anyone who's ready to get serious about weight loss!

Dr. Fountis is a true miracle. Follow her plan, and you WILL SUCCEED! I've been a patient for about 6 months and have lost almost 75 lbs, and dropped one blood pressure medication! Dr. Fountis, takes the time to explain things, intently listens to your questions and concerns....hit a road block, put a call in to the office & she will take the time to personally call you back.
I wish I had found her sooner.

Caring, Knowledgeable, Smart, Creative, Kind, Direct are just a few of the adjectives I would use to describe Dr. Fountis. And if you closely follow the prescribed program, you will lose weight. But you have to exercise personal responsibility for what goes in your mouth! Her office staff is caring and helpful. Even though I ask lots of questions, I have never felt rushed during an appointment. They really want you to be successful. I have lost 43lbs in a little over 3 mos with 37lbs more to go. I am no longer on blood pressure meds. I am never hungry on the program and with just a little bit of pre-planning, this program is easy to follow. I feel better now than I have felt in a decade. She has given me hope that at 58 years old, I still have a lot of living to do! I can't fully express how grateful I am to Dr. Fountis for offering this program.

Dr. Fountis is the only doctor I have ever come across that delivers on every single promise - even in writing! I went into this as skeptical but was desperate and willing to give it a try. I am so glad I did. Since starting in July I have lost over 80 pounds, and that includes a 3 week break (female). The diet is simple if you are committed. It is hard if you are looking for excuses and good ways to cheat. Stick with the plan as she prescribes and it really does work. The cost is nominal compared to the cost of associated food I would eat before going on the plan. To say Dr. Fountis is anything but awesome is suspicious at best.

Long term results not tracked, monitored, shared or available. My husband was solicited for before and after pictures. There has never been an inquiry or followup after his money was spent. My husband has shared with me that he has never recovered from the diet and has never felt good after it. Why would you trust your health to someone who requires a confidentiality agreement that prevent you from taking her to court, getting a 2nd medical opinion, or being able to discuss your treatment plan with anyone???? I think her patients are signing the confidentiality agreements under duress.

Did I hear anyone say "I can keep you alive and take you out of a state of morbid obesity, but ONLY if you promise under penalty of lawsuit not to tell anyone what I persuaded you to do to yourself, and you pay me in cash up front?"

Is that a fair paraphrase?

She is a good sales person, but weren't the snake oil peddlers good at separating people from their money? Confidence Men (con men) are great at making people believe.

I think that someone who is genuinely interested in helping people medically, would welcome interaction from their primary care physicians. Some day, a lawyer just might notice that perhaps people might be signing confidentiality agreements under duress. Has anyone looked to see if Dr Fountis has worked in other states?

So far in 2 weeks I've lost 17 lbs! I want to lose 20 more..to be at my best weight. I was very crabby the first week, but have not cheated at all! I was very quiet about it to friends..did not want to hear criticism. Yes it was expensive. However, I wanted results and was depressed, so I was very elated to lose weight so quickly. I lost most of it EXACTLY where I needed to! I tried so many other diets.., this WILL be a way of life for me.
BTW, I was so depressed, I saw a surgeon for a tommy tuck before - no need now! I'm losing so much in my stomach! No stretch marks and my skin is not saggy!? I'm so happy and after an accident, a breakup, a death and huge financial disaster, this changed my whole outlook!
Please do yourselves a favor and just do it! You will have eat at home mostly at first til you hit your goal..do it! It will be worth it!

I recently met my goal weight with Dr. Fountis's support. The program worked and I feel better, plus look better than I have since the early 90's. I felt supported during the program and am sure I will keep off both the weight (over 30 lbs. as well as the inches 8" off waist). Dr. Fountis offers you the program but what most impressed me was how much time she spends at each visit providing education. I strongly recommend this program.
