I took my son here. Had to pay my portion up front for allergy testing, so be prepared for that. Dr. Katz seems to be very knowledgeable; however, his office is very busy and I don't think we even had a full 5 minutes with him. His staff administered the allergy test and I know that we didn't wait the full 20 minutes for the results before he very quickly read the results and prescribed an EPI pen for my son. I would think that a bit more time should have been spent with questions and explanations, maybe even recommendations on EPI pen usage and the specific instances in which it should be used. My son has not yet experienced anaphylaxis, so definitive instructions probably would have been good to have. I just wish we could've had an actual conversation with the man as he does seem to be confident in his specialty.

A wait of over an hour. Then he spends 5 minutes with you. Always prescribes expensive drugs. Allergy testing is done by young girls who do it incorrectly. Stay away.

This doctor almost killed me. He misdiagnosed me and over treated me with allergy and asthma medication. A second opinion from a different allergist showed that I had MSRA, pseudomonas, and a fungal infection in my lungs. This turned into pneumonia and resulted in an 11 day hospital stay. Dr. Katz prescribed me with over $1,000 in allergy/asthma medication that I did not need. He was distracted every time I had an appointment with him. Do NOT see this doctor.

Cases discussed out loud in clear violation of HIPPA. Overprescribed dangerous medicines that interact without checking charts as to current meds. Young students doing tests. Dr. is rushed and overworked. May be correct diagnosis but is cookie cutter. Obviously is interested in expensive tests and prescribing the most expensive drugs given by the salespeople. In addition billing staff is rude and can not figure out billing methods. You are held up for minor charges.

Dr. Katz and his nurse practitioner Brenda are terrific! I have been a patient for the past 9 years and have always received top notch care. Both Dr. Katz and Brenda are thorough and they explain what needs to be done and why. I can honestly say, I am alive today because Dr. Katz did not give up when my lung function was rapidly deteriorating. I have never had a problem scheduling an appointment. His staff has always been friendly, helpful, and efficient. I have recommended Dr. Katz to multiple people and they have all thanked me for the referral.

I just don't understand why any doctor would allow a person like Paige to represent his office. She turned my account over to collection even after I made a substantial payment. Then she lied to the collection agent by saying that I never made the payment even after I sent my a copy of the cancelled check to the collection agency. It is obvious the only thing this office cares about is money. Paige blatantly lied to discredit my name. I only wish the same for her.

Great doctor. Helped with very serious allergies. Other doctors not nearly as helpful or concerned.

Horrible service from front desk and office manager! I was asked to find a different doctor because I refused a breathing test. Doctors are known to have ways of manipulating the system and getting the maximum amount from Insurances. A breathing test without warning that is not covered and coming out of pocket is something that should be told and shared with the patient at the time of scheduling or reminding a patient of their appointment. Healthcare and the patients well-being is in the hands of the patient not the staff who prefer to make a buck than to help a patient. Apparently, these folks have a lot to learn about customer service. CONSUMERS: Do not accept this type of treatment if you feel you do not understand the purpose behind a medical exam that is unwarranted. And especially when the attitude they give you is, "You'd better go somewhere else."
