Dr McKenna is very knowledgeable and very caring about his patients. He goes above and beyond. Punctuality is not so good but taking more care can take more time!

Dr McKenna is a pulls no punches type doc... Came highly recommended from my regular doc.... I also waited for almost 2 hours...just to be talked down to...told how great he is and that I need surgery... That is where the bad part came in. I have never been so upset with the way I was treated by another human much less a doctor and his staff. Angel in his office is the most unhappy rude person I have met in my life. The rest of his staff is the same. They made me pay $250 up front when I have no copayment! That is how they do it...riiight....I tried to get his help because my doc said he is good. It does not help when you are treated so poor.... Such disrespect....they still have my $250.... Billed my insurance ... GOT paid... Refuses to return my money.... Gave med meds.... Took forever to set up surgery.... Then cancelled my surgery because the doctor decided to go on vacation. He has a right of course but WHY set up my surgery? I am still sick and suffering. He made a could of changes in his staff hiring a new lady to schedule surgeries .... Hope they don't teach her the rest of the offices attitude. His medical knowledge may be great.... Though I have yet to see it. Going back to my doc today to get a new reference and see if another doc may have time for me or even care..... Wish me luck because I never want to go back to Dr Mckennas office ever again.

well my appointment was at 10:30 a.m. And I was told to show up half an hour before my appointment.finally at 1045 AM I was frustrated because my daughter still have not been seen.when the front office people call back to speak with the nurse to see how far back they were the nurse hung up on them.several minutes later they told me that they were 45 minutes behind not once did they tell me the whole time I was sitting there or when I showed up but that was the case.ok now 11:15 a.m. We are now in the patient room and we wait an additional 25 minutes close to 1145 to 12 p.m. The doctor comes in the room never apologize for the inconvenience that it caused me and my wife.this doctor seemed very arrogant I'm not at all genuineso if you want to waste your time and you like people being rude to you this would be the doctor for you.

If this were my business i would pay close attention to your front office staff and office manager. Customer service is extremely poor. I arrived at 148 for a 2 pm appt and was told to sit down. at 155 I was called to the front desk and informed that since i didnt come at 130 as instructed to fill out paperwork they were cancelling my appt. I was told by the registrar the doctor was behind anyway-this statement five minutes later he denied in the presence of the office manager. It does not take 30 min to fill out paperwork and I had left work for the appt and was on my lunch and waited3wks 4 the appt!I explained i too worked in the industry, to which the office manager stated then you should understand why the appt is cancelled. i told him that i didnt understand and that i work to remove patient dissatisfaction barriers not place them...I told them I would take my business elswhere. The thought of dealing with such disconnected unemotional office staff would prevent me from returning

Dr McKenna is one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by and he has a genuine concern for the people he treats. As strange as it may seem he did save my life(and I am not being melodramatic) While under his care I was in the hospital for 28 days and he was there to make sure things were done right and also to see how i was doing. He is very knowledgeable about his field and in the rare case he doesnt know something he will find out everything about it. I was a never saw this before patient and Doc kept trying to figure it out and he did. He does not have the huge ego that many Drs. seem to have, he listens to what you say and does not dismiss it as unimportant. He is not the most punctual which can be frustrating, but he is worth the wait and as another person has said, if you call him with an emergency question or problem, he call back. He is a great doctor and a good hearted person. I am fortunate to have been under his care.

This doctor's office is one of the most disrespectful towards patients I have seen. This office (Valley ENT) treats patients like the patients time has no value. I went there six time in last year, and each time I had to wait for 30 min to 75 minutes inside the exam room after the PA took me there. One time the NP did not show up. I walked out and had them cancel my copay. Their excuse was there was emergency. However, the NP herself had personal issue and showed up late to the office. But his is just a common excuse used by this doctors office as if they are treating emergency patient all the time. My point was if the doctor is running so late, let me know so that I can decide if need to reschedule. But I can't sit there endlessly, This office is out there to make as much money as they can and book too many patients. The doctor is ok, but the office is just nightmare. If you want a professional business service, please please stay away from this office.

Dr McKenna cares about his patients! My 3 yr old son appeared to be having issues with his tubes that Dr. McKenna placed in his ears. I called him at 9:30 p.m., not expecting a call back. I got a call back right away! Dr. McKenna is usually booked far out but he squeezed my son in the following a.m.. Come to find out at that a.m. appointment,my son shoved something in his ear. I highly recommend Dr. McKenna to ANYONE!!

My overall rating of Dr. Mckenna is poor. To start things off I waited a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes to be seen by DR Mckenna. That is not including the 15 minutes that i showed up early to fill out new patient forms. When I expressed my feeling to the nurse she said she would let Dr Mckeena know of my wait time. When Dr. Mckenna came into the room their was absolutely no apologe at all. And here is the kicker i was suppose to recieve a follow up ct scan and his staff was suppose to call to make this appointment and still no phone call. Everybody has a bad day but, if a doctor can't even manage his own time with patients do you really want him to be your doctor and practice medcine on you.
