When my PCP Doctor could not prescribe high blood pressure RX that I could tolerate, I asked to be referred to Dr. Bouknight. He immediately ordered tests that detected my carotid artery blockage and scheduled surgery that saved me from having a stroke. He has provided Excellent patient care for my husband and myself.

My brother in law had a heart attack and was taken to the emergency room at Providence and asked for Dr. Bouknight once he was stabilized. He had already had open heart surgery therefore, lots of anxiety by the patient and all f his family. You could not have asked for a more compassionate, capable cardiologist than Dr. Bouknight. I am now in need of a cardiologist due to my family history and have chosen Dr. Bouknight after witnessing his personal attention and compassion for my brother in law. Thank you Dr. Bouknight.

In 2015, I had just moved to South Carolina from Pennsylvania and about a month later became having difficulty breathing at 4:00 am. I was taken by ambulance to Providence Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. I awoke in the intensive care cardiac unit. Dr. Bauknight saved my life. His bedside manor was wonderful. He performed a cardiac catheter procedure without problem (I was scared to death to have this procedure, but he reassured me and my family). I am a Registered Nurse (we make the worst patients) and have complete confidence in Dr. Bouknight's knowledge and skills. I had the same health emergency a few years before in Pennsylvania and had a horrible experience - but the experience with Providence Hospital and Dr. Bouknight was exceptional. I have complete trust in his knowledge and skills. Thank you Dr. Bouknight.

He is the best doctor in the world! He operates on people who can't afford it and is very generous. Sadly some people take advatage of him. Also I'm sorry to here abot your grandma (person who wrote b4 me) but you dont have any right to blame Dr. Bouknight. How do you know that he could done anything for her. How do you know he wasn't workin on another pacient. I promise and i'm not joking he will do his up most best to help you with your needs. Also Dr. Anna Bouknight is his wife and is a ENT, who is wonderful. They are the most christian people you'll ever meet and very understanding.

Dr Bouknight performed a Heart Cath on my grandmother. She showed signs of a bleed right away. He realized this and placed a clamp immediately. Yet for the next 19 hours or so he ordered no CTScan or other procedures to locate or stop the bleeder. We only saw him once throught the entire nightmare and he told us that it would clot itself. During the night she was given approx 10 units of blood and platelets. Finally in the wee hours of the morning the nursing staff notified a Nephrologist because of her lack of **** output. He informed us that he needed to call in a sergeon immediately because she was in serious condition! We never saw or heard from Dr Bouknight again during this nightmare. By the time she was operated on she has be administered approx 12 units of blood and platelets. She was swollen three times her size and died on the operating table. Dr Bouknights ability is not in question, it's his lack of appropriate action and compassion! She could/should have been saved!!
