They have some of the rudest staff I have ever met. There is no urgency in anything related to medical care in the ER. Wait time is hours, just to be seen and then you are confronted with rude doctors and nurses. It is faster to drive to MUSC and wait to be seen there. Only way I would return is to have an emergency situation as to where I was unconscious and had no say in the matter. Then I would hope and pray I would make it out alive. It's sad to have such a large facility 15 minutes away from my home and not to have confidence in the employees and feel the need to drive 2 hours to receive medical care.

Poor service. After waiting in the ER for 8 hours I was still never seen or called to the back. I think it was because of my color along with some other people in there. White people came in and didn’t wait nearly as long as I did and they were seen.

Steer clear from any doctors office that's affiliated with LMC. They will tell you the price for you service and when you get the bill it's 10x more that you were told. Take my advice and others and don't choose LMC.

Went to emergency room via ambulance...I was unconscious and husband shared they were so fast and aggressive to find out what was wrong. Spent next four days in ICU....exceptional care, when I stepped down to regular room...excellent care.

By far the most expensive hospital in the city. If you have a lot of money to burn go to a facility owned by Lexington medical center and be treated. If you want to save hundreds or even thousands of dollars for expensive tests and procedures, I encourage you to take the time and call other facilities on the area. You will be SHOCKED at the money you can save by not going to Lexington.
