My Mom has been under her care for as least ten years. In the past two years she has experienced increasing pain and shortness of breath. Dr. Bruton attributed the pain to arthritis and prescribed a very mild pain medication. It has been extremely difficult to get Dr. Bruton to answer calls and refer to specialists. Five days ago I brought my mom to the emergency room because of her shortness of breath and severe pain. Tests revealed that she had cancer throughout her body, this included her bones, lungs, and liver, in addition she had a fractured vertebra and congestive heart problems. Dr. Bruton failed to diagnose any of these severe medical conditions. The doctors who have seen my mom in the past few days were shocked that none of these problems had been detected by her primary physician. Yesterday after months of excruciating pain she was given medication to ease her pain. She a mere five days after having been diagnosed by emergency room doctors.
