Dr Talanin is the best dermatologist I have ever been to. Our family has been privileged to be under Dr Talanin’s excellent care since he began practicing in Virginia - about twenty years . He is exceptionally knowledgeable , really smart and talented and is a truly kind and truly competent doctor. He , as the saying goes - really “knows his stuff”. He is an excellent diagnostician. I know he makes and will make the right call when he diagnosis and treats us. We totally trust and appreciate him I feel truly grateful that he is our dermatologist and am very comforted in the knowledge that he gives us the very best care.

Dr Talanin has been our family dermatologist for as long as he as been at this practice. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, a good listener, very thorough and takes excellent care of our whole family. We are very grateful that he is our dermatologist.

The staff is ok, but the doctor is excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. Definitely recommend.

Being a registered nurse and as a woman married to a surgeon, I was floored at the HORRIBLE experience this physician offered me. Forget wait times and crowded waiting rooms because I would put those aside to see a good physician. But Dr Talanin was rude, inconsiderate, and literally asked me to stop talking as I cried about losing my hair at 32 years old. Not to mention this was somewhere in the mere 45 seconds that he actually spent with me. I would never tolerate a patient of ours encountering such a horrible experience. The only positive note I have to share is thank god his medical assistant actually has a heart. She spent an extra minute with me and even offered a hug promising me that it would be okay. A small recovery from the embarrassment I had just endured as I left his office feeling like a nuisance, not a patient.

I've had none thing but... positive experiences every time I've stepped foot into this practice ! Every one ...of my family members are patients of this practice...... going on 17years now, I highly recommend any and everyone in need of a Dermatologist to not hesitate to schedule an appointment to see any of the Doctors or PA s with this practice , they are all amazing !!

The wait times are always tremendous at this office, so be prepared. If you can stand the wait, the unprofessional, unclean practice of the support staff, then seeing Dr. Talanin is fine. He is a knowledgeable doctor and has a good bedside manner. Otherwise, though, if he was at another practice, it would be a much better situation. He is know doubt not rated as high because of the office and support staff around him and the overall unclean atmosphere of the rooms, too.
