Dr Vargas is one of the most arrogant doctors out there. He's all good as long as you don't ask any questions about vaccines. Doesn't the law state that we are entitled to "Informed Concent". When you ask doctor Vargas or any of his staff even one question about any vaccine they get so defensive and say if you don't fully agree with them you can leave there practice and find another doctor. THAT IS NOT IMFORMED CONCENT!!!
We asked for the vaccine insert sheet from the vaccine package and they refused and gave an excuse that they don't have it and they would print it out for us. NEVER DID PRINT OR GIVE IT TO US. We asked many many times too. If that's not suspicious I don't know what is. Steer clear of this doctor and all his staff.

He was my pediatrician from birth until I was too old to see him. Amazing doctor! He always put my parents' panic to rest when I was sick, and always got to the bottom of whatever was wrong. He's sweet and caring, as is his staff.

Jose Vargas is NOT a good pediatrician. He just puts kids on medications they don't need and tries to get them labeled by sending you to specialists. He makes up diagnoses to put kids on drugs. he also told me b/c my ex-wife and I don't get along, my son will end up in jail some day. Who the he** does he think he is. I DO NOT RECOMEND this jackass.

Dr Vargas is very knowlegeable, caring, helpful doctor that I have ever meet, he has always given the best of care to my son.

Dr. Vargas was the on call for my Son's Pediatrician this past weekend. My Son was admitted to the hospital with c. diff, a fairly serious infection of the stomach and intestines. When he showed up to the hospital to visit my Son, Myself and my Husband overheard him through the hospital room door yelling at the nurses asking them if this was worth waking him up at 2am in the morning. I lost all respect for Dr. Vargas, as a Mother I take everything having to do with my Son very seriously as would every parent. To hear how unconcerned he was about my Son was disheartening and disturbing. I would hope my Child's Pediatrician would have the same concern for my Child as I do.

I love Doctor Vargas. He is so knowleadgeable. I can call him with all my concerns. He always return my phone calls. He spends all the time I need to address my concerns. He is an extraordinary person!!!!I don't know what I would do without him!!!!!!!!Thank God for him!

I feel this doctor and his staff are very unknowledgable about breast feeding. He reported my husband and I to CPS for choosing to breastfeed, and to use measures to feed our child that supported breastfeeding rather than using a bottle of formula with our newborn. He was threatening and said we were starving our child's brain because she weighed two ounces less on his scale than on the hospital scale she had been measured on two days before. When we chose to seek care else where he reported us to CPS. We followed up with a new pediatrician the next day who has never had any concerns. Our daughter was exclusively breastfed for 6 months and continued to nurse until she was 2.5 years old. This doctor was wrong and his recommendations would have greatly compromised our breast feeding relationship. Seeking a 2nd opinion meant a CPS report. His accusations of neglect were unfounded and the CPS case was closed. It was a very emotional, difficult thing to go through 6 days post pardum.
