This guy is the greatest! He doesn't push pills but offers numerous other forms of therapy to help with chronic pain.

Dr Smith & his staff are so caring & attentive. They have helped me regain my life back after being incapacitated & homebound by my pain.

Dr smith is no script doc, I can tell you after having seen Dr smith now for 13 years, he is compassionate, willing to do whatever he can to help you, what he is unwilling to do is help you develop a serious drug problem. You join in a partnership with him.. follow the rules, don't loose your script, run out early, don't fail a drug test. I have had numerous procedures by him each year for 13 years, and I have to say, he saved my life.. I was gobbling pain meds like crazy and getting no relief, I was to the point of planning out my suicide when I was refereed to him by my primary doc.. He met with me and my husband, took a long time to review my records prior to that first apt, I could tell based on what we talked about, and he changed my meds, said it would take maybe 6 months to a year to get me at a better place, and he was so right, after 6 months and I was finally feeling like I wanted to live again.. He takes time to talk to me each visit and procedure, he knows my kids names.

This doctor is the most un-compassionate doctor I have ever seen. This was my first time to a pain doctor. It was evident that he was cocky and un-caring. He has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. He does not care you are in pain and it so cheap with his RX pad - I was lucky to walk out of there with a Tylenol. I wish I would have read these readings before I went to him and gave him my money - WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIM AGAIN! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Dr. Smith is a very compassionate, caring, caring, physician with a vast knowledge of medicine. He doesn't always listen as much as he should, because he's trying to spend the time giving the patient advice or teaching then about their condition, but he is a Dr. that truly wants to help you- not just take your money! His staff are always polite & try to help you with anything you ask of them. Dr. Smith's office does sometimes run behind, however, this is not the fault of the Dr or staff but the fault of the strict regulations that our Government has placed upon pain management facilities! Do your research & you'll see what I mean. This is a Dr. & office staff you can Trust!

I have been seeing Dr. Smith for over 10 years for RSD! He is one of the few doctors that really listens and helps me! I have never been rushed out of his office, and they work with their patients. I'm not addicted to drugs, and he controls my pain. He runs his office with serious respect for the state laws, and staff members that do not follow the laws are FIRED!Patients that try to shop for drugs without any real medical problem shouldn't waste their time in his office! He is a very intelligent, and caring doctor that knows his stuff. His staff has provided excellent care including his wife! I surprised so many people are disappointed??

Bascically he does what he wants, overlooks what is needed to be done. Find another, you are just a paycheck to him. Ten years only because of disgusting worker's comp. Me, disabled, and no better.

I read all those awful reviews and felt I had to write. After a severe sky diving accident 15 years ago, 17 surguries to correct all my resulting problems, a case of scoliosis since age 12-surgically corrected at that age to the best of the Drs ability, I have dealt with my share of pain. After 5 years of suffering and being totally disabled at age 45 I went to a pain Dr in California who got me up walking again and back to work. Upon moving to Orlando I found Dr Smith and have not been disappointed. I have been with him six years now. When I first met with him he took my medical history- all 200 pages of it and read it. He spent over an hour examining me and reccommending various exercises and pressure points for me to manipulate on my own. He follows my meds carefully, keeps me at the lowest dose possible and always spends time asking about my personal life and if I am mentally functioning well. A very caring DR. who I feel I can talk to about anything.

Went to him for several years. Unfortunately I thought all pain Dr's cared as little as he does. Now I know better. Now I don't have to suffer in pain every month as I did with his office. Now I come to find out I should have had surgery yrs ago. Gave meds and epidurals too many times and now I'll have to pay with it with a more invasive surgery than I would have if I had ditched him sooner. Don't be lulled into a false sense of security with meds. Get off them and get your body fixed. I swear, if someone had a broken leg they wouldn't give you an RX and send you on your way. Well that's what's wrong here, for me it was my back (Fix the damn thing and let me get on with my life). Pain Mgmt is a scam for Dr's to make money that can't or won't operate. Keep going to as many different REAL doctors that you have to. Don't give up until you are fixed. It took me 15 doctors over 12 years. I got tired after the first 11 docs in 3 years. Meds let me rest for a while. But don't get comfortable.
