I was a patient of Dr. Shea's a few years ago and I must say that he is the most caring doctor that I have ever seen. Yes, you may wait a while but when he steps into the exam room you are extremely happy at how thorough he is and the attention that he gives you. Knowing that I am sensitive to medications, he prescribed therapy to help with my pain instead. The female Therapist (I believe her name was Cheri) was also compassionate and very knowledgeable. She was a great teacher and fixed my frozen shoulder. I recommend this practice to everyone!

Dr, Shea is "The Man". I have been seeing him and bothering him for about 7 years. He is a beautiful soul. He is also brilliant. The wait is sometimes long, although lately it has been much better.( He has a PA Christine, who is also amazing ) The problem is that he is never in a big hurry and makes you feel as though you are his only patient. I drive an hour to see Dr. Shea. I've been under his care for chronic pain management for the last 13 years. You won't find a more caring, brilliant, thorough, and honest doctor anywhere! His staff is par excellence, kind and caring and always willing to help. I recommend Dr. James K. Shea to anyone who has been through the misery of uncaring doctors. He truly has a heart for his patients. He takes time with each patient and it's definitely worth the drive for me!

Dr. Shea and his staff, provide healthcare with a heart. They listen and interact with the patient and Dr. Shea spends a great deal of time with each patient, unlike most Drs today, whom are in and out and on to the next patient before the patient can utter a word. He is caring, compassionate and considerate of the patient and, of what the patient is experiencing and, he actually listens and responds to what the patient is telling him! He and his staff are ALL angels, and, I am fortunate and delighted to have found his practice. I hope that I never have to look for another rehab/pain management Dr, that it will be him for the duration. Thank You to Dr. Shea, his staff and esp dear Jennifer.

Dr. Shea and his staff are an amazing team. They treat you with respect and are always willing to answer questions. I was in a car accident and they helped me the best they could with physical therapy, chiropractic work, and evaluations. I could not ask for a better staff. I will say that for your actual Dr. appointments it can take a while to be seen. I actually took comfort in the fact that he has a busy practice.

I was in a bad car accident and I've been seeing Dr. Shae for almost 2 years. He is caring, concerned and very smart. He is not a "candy" doctor. He is careful as to not overdose a patient but he is thoughtful enough to consider a patients feelings. I had to have my prescriptions increased a couple times and he was very kind to me when I told him about all of my pain. I get the feelings that he genuinely cares and I wouldn't see any other pain specialist..he sets the bar..A+

I had to have nerve conduction studies and was very apprehensive of the pain but Dr. Shea was very caring and got me through the test procedure without much pain just some discomfort. Would recommend him to anyone who needs this test.

Dr.Shea is a caring, informed doctor. If you are in pain, Dr. Shea is certainly the doctor to see. Patient, understanding, never in a hurry. Great staff.
