This is the WORST "Dr" I have EVER set eyes on. WHY DOESN"T THE MED BOARD LOOK IN TO HIM????? When I was there half his staff was fired for using the narcotics that had to be turned in by pt if not using and writing their own scripts. (I know that for a fact). He was the MEANEST S.O.B I ever met. If you were once a pt, please write the Frorida Medical Board. they WILL listen and yank this money hungry jerk's license. I remember when he was at St Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston. I worked there and he was asked to LEAVE. Don't let him trap you. He'll get you addicted and out you go.I am FURIOUS as this pig.

This Dr. is rude and uncaring! He never examined me! Dr. Smith has NO compassion for anyone in pain only collecting his fee! His office staff is just as rude as he is! Don't ever go there if you need help with pain as you will NOT get it from Dr. Smith!!

Dr. Smith and his office staff are the most uncaring, arrogant, unprofessional and non-compassionate doctors office I ever been treated by. I was treated by Dr. Smith for over 7 years and would advise anyone who is considering going to this office to run away as fast as you can. Do NOT waste your time or money visiting this doctor. He is rude and will often just walk out of the room while you are still talking. He does NOT believe in Rx'ing pain medication for breakthrough pain, period! His office staff is equally as rude. They do not return phone calls and make mistakes with your medications and the dates they are due. I can not stress enough, do NOT go to this doctor. I now see a wonderful, caring and compassionate doctor.

Do not go to this office! The office manager is his wife, and if you get a second opinion she will give you grief about it and question why you got the second opinion. Your husband doesn't listen to his patients and your staff has horrible attitudes and pityful phone etiquette. If the staff doesn't like you (for whatever reason) and you get them on the phone, their whole personality changes and they will tell you they will have to call you back, which they never do. I dreaded having to visit or call this office. You shouldn't have to feel that way about the people who are suppose to be helping you. STAY AWAY!!

The staff in this office is horrendous! I have been dealing with pain for seven years now and this is by far the worst office I have ever had to deal with. Dr. Smith is a nice person, but doesn't listen to your complaints. I basically had to get a second opinion and tell Dr. Smith what the other doctor said to get him to listen to me. The communication is not good in this office. If you call the staff out on their job, you are black listed and treated like crap from that point on! Stay away from this office or you will be pulling your hair out trying to get your needs met by this group of people!!

I HAVE BEN SEEING DR. SMITH FOR OVER 4 YEARS NOW, FOR MY UN-CORRECTABLE BACK AND STOMACH PAIN.DUE TO DIABETES AND CAR ACCIDENT. I AM TAKING LARGE DOSE CLASS 2 PAIN MEDICATION 24/7.MY PAIN IS MOSTLY CONTROLED TO A BEARABLE LEVEL,BUT DOES GOES PAST "10"ON THE PAIN SCALE @VARIOUS TIMES.I AM A VERY HARD PERSON TO PLEASE, BUT DR SMITH IS HARDER" AND KEEPS ME ON THE STRAIGHT AND NARROW IF YOU ARE HONEST WITH HIM HE WILL BE HONEST WITH YOU AND YOU'LL BOTH WORK @ KEEPING YOUR PAIN DOWN TO A DULL ROAR ! YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE THAT SAFETY LINE TIED TO YOU AND HELD BY DR SMITH IN CASE YOU SLIP,YOU WILL NEVER BE ALLOWED TO FALL! I RATE DR. SMITH A 5 ON ALL ASPECTS OF HIS PRACTICE , AFTER YOU GET TO KNOW HIM. IN THE INITAL BEGININGS OF YOUR INVOLVEMENT WITH THE DOC. YOU MIGHT FIND HIM A LITTLE ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES BY THAT DEMENOR.IT IS THERE TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU REALIZE THAT THE PAIN RELIEF PROGRAM IS A VERY SERIOUS AND STRICT UNDERTAKING!JUST BE HONEST WITH HIM,AND YOURSELF,TO ALEVIATE YOUR PAIN!
