Dr. Padilla is a wonderful doctor and human being. He is kind and caring. I am so grateful that he was the doctor that took care of me during that hard part of my life. He was always just a call away. And I know my family feels the same way. God bless you always Dr. Padilla for the kindness you showed towards me and my family.

I don’t usually rate doctors on any subject other than my own personal feelings but losing my mother in Nov. of 2018 was very hard on me and my family. My mother was diagnosed with a rare tumor called neuroendocrine tumor growing on the outside of her uterus and in between her her bladder. So my mom was officially diagnosed in sep of 2018 of her blood results and was recommended to doctor Padilla Paz, so in October my mother asked to do the standard blood work and a colonoscopy which she did but the results were not good being that one of her intestines had twisted during or after the procedure. Shorts after that my mother began experiencing some difficulties eating and keeping food down unaware that her intestine was an issue. So 3 days after procedure she was in such intense pain her initial thought was to go to Albuquerque where here oncologist was but because it was not a cancer issue her doctor Dr. Padilla Paz told her to go to a hospital in Rio Rancho NM and not his facility. My mother spent her last 3 weeks in the hospital in Rio Ranch no food , so much pain, no oncologist, and let me say that when we did reach him he was always busy at home with his children crying in background and I do not judge him for that being a mother of 5 and grandmother as well but when your loved ones life is at stake I felt like he gave almost no effort or interest with her , I personally never met the man as he was never at the hospital when I was there . He ordered a very strong treatment of chemotherapy for my mother that required for me to wear a mask and nurse full PPE with suit in 2 days 3 treatments one day and 2 the next day, but my mothers intestines still weren’t completely healed and she had not had any food for two weeks. My mother was released 3 days after treatment and came home unable to walk, eat , or feel sensation on her bowls or bladder. I lost my mother 3 days after her arrival home. I can’t express the anger and regret I have at the thought of what if we hadn’t drove to Albuquerque or Rio Rancho and just had drove to our small hospital, we put all of our faith in Dr. Padilla Paz, he also showed very little interest or remorse after her loss, she was not his mother she was ours and we will miss always! Surgery is very difficult to deal with and having Dr. Padilla-Paz as my surgeon was very comforting. Very professional and compassionate. He took the time to explain the process and answered all questions. I wasn't pressured to hurry like most office visits. After having a complete hysterectomy and dealing with issues afterwards, he has provided great after care. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon.

Dr. Padilla-Paz is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever met. He takes the time to answer questions and has the ability to describe the care and procedures in such a way that you and your family can truly understand what he is going to do to help you.

Hearing the words "You've got cancer" are pretty scary but when my gynecologist, whom I also love, directed me to Dr. Padilla I couldn't have been happier. He showed such concern and compassion. Our initial visit was quite long. He wants to make sure you have all the questions you have answered. After our course of action was decided he gave us step by step what was going to happen in my surgery and how it may change if they found certain things along the way. Leaving nothing to be decided on the spot. We knew ahead of time which way things would go depending on what happened. I was happy we could go in and my husband wouldn't have to make any decisions on the spot. It's such a difficult time for everyone that every little thing helps. He took such good care of me (and my family). I pray none of you will need his services but if you do, you are in the right hands. God has truly blessed him with these talents and the rest of us for being able to be served by them.

Dr. Padilla is an extremely gifted and talented doctor. Besides the fact that he is the best gyn-onc surgeon in the region, he is also kind, caring and compassionate. I was extremely blessed to have him perform my surgery and aftercare. I can't say enough positive things about this very talented and kind man. His staff is also fabulous! They are very compassionate and responsive to their patients and treat everyone with the utmost dignity and respect. Despite having to see Dr. Padilla under such dark circumstances, he and his staff made it as positive of an experience as it could possibly be.

Dr. Padilla has to be one of the BEST doctors I have ever dealt with. He is AWESOME!! I cannot say enough great things about him. His mannerism, follow through, compassion, etc..... Oh my gosh, he's just a wonderful doctor. New Mexico is extremely fortunate to have a doctor like him. I was very blessed to have him do my surgery.
