Most of the visit time is spent updating RX, tests or other info on computer. He is moody, short tempered & disinterested in the patient. His visits are brief & if you try to talk to him while he's typing, he gets VERY annoyed. Visits with him are like mini interviews or referrals. Once he read an X Ray & I had to tell him it was upside down. Gospel! No joke! He was not very effective when he was working full time. Now that he's 2 weeks on & two weeks off, he is just there in body (and that's not in the exam room for very long). There is no interest in the patient as a human being. You'd do just as well with an online doctor who will talk to you and listen to you. Dr Croom needs to make his retirement complete. This 2 weeks on deal was a dumb move by the hospital. He's either just coming off vacation or getting ready to go on one! There is NO Dr/patient bonding with him. You can be his patient for 10 years and he'll act like you're a stranger when he sees you. Happiness will be James Croom in our rear view mirror!

Freeman Clinic is a joke among legitimate clinics in Mountain Home. Trying to get a script refilled or filled is like fighting a war. Nurses always say they never got a script request and when they send a script mysteriously no one ever receives it. I have played this game with Freeman for two years and have had enough of excuses. Complaints to the head of nursing do absolutely no good. Dr. Croom is arrogant and obnoxious. I would not recommend him, his nurse or anyone else at Freeman Clinic. Their lab has lost my lab work on more than one occasion. Stay away from this place if you want decent, professional medical care.

Freeman Medical Clinic is awful, never answers the phone, doctor does not have aditting privileges at only hospital in the community. He is not willing to take time to diagnose a problem. Does the least amount he has to.

Only good thing I can say about him is that he's punctual. Otherwise, totally disinterested in me or my medical issue...just wanted to dispense pain meds over and over rather than get to the root of the problem. Never looked me in the eye and bordered on outright rude. Didn't take me too many visits to switch doctors. Great for someone just wanting pain pills.

I was his patient for 2-3years, decided after many months to change doctors. Dr. Croom is moody-sometimes helpful and many times disinterested.

Can't say enough good about Dr. Croom. Let him ask the questions and if anyone can get to the root of your problem he can. Excellent doctor in my opinion. Have been seeing him for over six years now and I can credit him for saving my life.

This guy's a winner. I'd recommend him with my eyes closed. He's caring, knowledgeable and most willing to help. A super doctor-I can't say enough in a positive vein about him.
