Dr. Saxena is an excellent psychiatrist who is sincere and really cares about his patients. He is also very knowledgeable about psychiatric medications and their side effects. His positive attitude and consistent encouragement are commendable.

Provides medication and therapy! Usually Psychiatrist's only provide medication management, but Dr. Saxena also provide therapy. He listens well, and is very encouraging and supportive. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Does not do therapy just writes prescriptions... not really effective for someone who is looking to get better. Very hard to understand since he doesn't speak English well and doesn't listen well.

Have been trying to reach him for over a week, just as his office staff have been trying as well due to reactions my child has been having with the medications he prescribed. He has not responded to date. VERY UNHAPPY with this doctor. This is the major issue of a few I have had with Dr Saxena at his Connecticut offices.

Dr. sax helped me out tremendously he treated me for addiction and basically turned my life around, he is a very nice man who cares for his patients and wants to see them succeed in life. i recommend him to anyone

He's a great psychopharmacologist with a kind heart and great bedside manner. He's very compassionate with me especially after being a victim of abuse, and extremely helpful. He truly wants to see patients get better, and he has the knowledge to do it.
