Dr Abrams seems to have a propensity for screaming and swearing at his patients. I respectfully told him that I felt he was being too aggressive, he insulted me more. I left the visit. I have never seen such inappropriate behavior. For $1,200 no less. Safe yourself and your sanity & stay away from this crude man.

Having been referred to him by another professional, I consider myself fortunate to have found Dr. Abrahms. His empathy, intelligence, and ability to listen sets him apart from so many others. He is a good human being who has the interest and ability to help, you will be in good hands.

I came to Dr. Abrams with a severe alcohol problem as well as other issues 2.5 years ago. Through his insights and appropriate medications, I have not only kicked the habit but I am at peace in other areas of my life. Dr. Abrams possesses a dazzling intellect but takes a practical approach to problems, big and small. Sometimes our sessions would seem like small talk but there was always a point to his approach. I contnue to see him regularly and feel that every session is worthwhile. I give him my highest recommendation.

Dr. Abrams is always timely and thoughtful. I've been his patient for a several years, and when I was in-between jobs and financially stressed, he told me to "not worry about it". At first, I didn't understand, but he clarified that he was offering to continue our visits pro-bono until I was on my feet and set up with insurance with a new job. I usually don't even write reviews, but I was so grateful for his kindness and generosity(not to mention the benefits of the sessions). Great Dr. and a great human being!

Dr. Abrams has been very helpful in my struggle with anxiety. He was extremely patient and caring when trying to find the right medication. He always returned my calls quickly and took the time to listen how I was feeling. I am truly grateful for his help.
