He's running a scam where he prescribes you something low-risk like Prozac and then babysits you for (exactly) 15 minutes during your appointment every few weeks. Most of that 15 minutes is filled with him telling you stories to prove how smart he thinks he is. If you are going there for anything more than that then you're with the wrong doctor. He doesn't delve into your case -- in his mind 95% of cases don't justify the use of his full intellect. And if the first drug doesn't work, he just shuffles to another drug and then back to babysitting and self-admiration. I think if you put him in a room with a mirror he'd never come out. But he'd charge that mirror for every minute of his time.

Dr Mueller is the best doctor i have he saved my life so many times if anyone need a psychiatrist i have the highest respect for him and he is right on with treating your illness . So if anyone is looking for a great doctor pick him.

I've been a patient for 10+ years. The "jokes" at the start of each session were obnoxious early on, but often easy to ignore. He was extremely helpful early on as I experienced major depression and substance abuse issues. Medications are all trial and error, and he has felt comfortable keeping me on the same regime for several years. As I stabilized, and the healthier (and more knowledgable) I became, the more ridiculous it felt to spend $150-250 on 15/20 minutes of self reporting that I eat, sleep, groom, maintain healthy relationships, and haven't attempted suicide since I last saw him. When I decided to discuss an actual struggle, he laughed it off for several months, then wanted to "sit on it", then refused any type of support or alternative. Maybe it's too much history of crises, maybe he's not refreshing his reputable 30+ year knowledge, maybe he prefers to only work with specific pharmaceutical companies. What do I know? I'm the psych patient writing this review.

I have seen Dr Mueller for many years as a psychopharmacologist , and I find him to be very helpful extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about medicines.. he is very informal and humorous so if you are someone who is put off by that he may not be a good match for you but if you are okay with someone who is upbeat and easy going yet also empathetic and serious when the situation needs it, I suggest him. I know people who have found him a little too interactive and 2 jokey but for me it's been fun and I've known him for a very long time.

Most unprofessional and moocher Doctor in Stamford CT. Use patients as Guinea Pigs to grab big Bucks from the Pharmaceutical companies. Do not care about his Patients in order to be greedy for his personal interest to fill up his big deep pockets. He is looting the innocent sick patients and ruining the future of young lives.. I will call the Medical Board of State of Connecticut to cancel his Medical Board Licence ASAP so so that he cannot ruin the future of young lives. I will bring this Monster to the National TV to stop future damage of our children. In the best interest of humanity I humbly request the community to bring this terrible doctor to Justice.One of the worst doctors I've ever seen, and way overpriced ($160 for a 15 minute follow-up sessions but has no grasp on the needs of the patient. I was extremely depressed, and he would come into the office whistling or singing at he beginning of each appointment. He made some very unethical statements as well. I would never recommend this doctor to any body because he is criminal. Believe me he is. Please Don't waste your time with this Doctor.
