On several occasions now Dr Madan has made errors with prescriptions which were picked up by the pharmacist. One occasion involved too great a dosage, another involved no tablet strength at all.

A lot of the comments here address a lack of running "tests" before diagnosis. Such tests are actually only a tool to aid in diagnosing. A good physician should be able to come up with a working diagnosis based on a thorough history (ie. what the patient says)...and only use such tests when deemed necessary. Why put the patient through unnecessary discomfort? I have been going to Dr. Madan for a couple of years now and am incredibly happy with her as my GP. She is sometimes rushed, but such is the nature of the health care system in this country. I have never felt my treatment suffered because of it. She is thorough and quite accommodating. She makes an effort to keep up to date with current medicine. She is friendly, but professional. She is incredibly punctual, especially for a medical clinic - I have never had to wait more than 5min to see her.

Dr. Madan is at best rushed and really doesn't seem to have the time to listen and properly form a diagnosis. She is quick to jump to conclusions with out testing and quick to write prescriptions as well. The front desk is extremely rude and unhelpful. I'm glad a found a new physician!

There are both positive & negative things about this doctor. She usually gets quite good specialists, if she will refer you to someone. But in terms of knowledge, I have doubts. And what was the most alarming thing, she jumps to conclusions and rushes to prescribe things w/o doing all tests, i'm not even mentionning referrals to specialists.

Over the years I have seen her go from a happy dr who is willing to listen and help, to a dr that is just trying to get you out the door. I called to book an appointment last week, and was given a booking for over two weeks away. they are ruse and unaccomodating, and I am currently searching for another dr. any one have any referrals in north toronto?

Needs to re-read her hypocratic oath and decide if it actually is something she can understand. If so, apply it. If not, I'm sure the College of Physicians and Surgeons will help her make the decision to find another career. I'm still deciding on making an official report to them. My dog's veterinarian would show more compassion and give me better care.

She is not someone who will get too friendly with you...I find that she likes to get to the point. I have PCOS and she happened to pick up that my prolactin levels were high so her diagnosis was good. However its hard to strike a conversation with her. Overall she gets the job done, is professional and has also accomodated me if I got to my appts sooner then our appt time. Shes a good doc.

I'm reasonably happy with Dr. Madan and her mat leave replacement, however I have been so frustrated with her administrative staff on at least two occasions, that I am considering finding a new Doctor just to avoid dealing with them.

The only nice thing about her is that she's punctual, but has only ever spent 5 minutes with me at a time. Not thorough, always rushes me, and has never remembered my previous chronic conditions. I agree with the person who wrote, "Someone should tell her that being sick or having some sort of chronic condition is not just an inconvenience to her." She has been very unsympathetic to my chronic condition, telling me to just "live with it" and refusing to refer me to a specialist. Waste of time, look elsewhere if you're looking for a good doctor. She's never told me anything useful or helpful.

Dr Madan has always been helpful, knowledgable and kind. Her staff, on the other hand, are miserable, rude and unhelpful. It would be a great benefit if they could speak English
