My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Rios for 20+ years. We would never have another doctor. The only thing to criticize him about is that ever since Debbie left as his nurse, he rarely gets messages. It is very frustrating dealing with his new nurse, Kathy, when she says that she will call back, or worse leaving a message for her, and never getting any response at all!!

Myself, husband and parents are patients of Dr. Rios and have been for many, many years. If we moved away from Gainesville, we would travel the distance to continue to see him. He is not only extremely intelligent but kind, loving and compassionate. Throughout the many years myself and family have been his patients, none of us have EVER encountered anything but the best. His nurse, Debbie, is awesome and they make a great team. They are our family, as well.
The office staff, phlebotomists and special testing technicians are wonderful and so pleasant and friendly. I cannot say enough positives for Dr. Rios, Debbie and staff. 100% satisfied for myself and other family patients concur.

When I had a relative die and asked where I could get some help in dealing with the loss, he told me I could call hospice and he wanted to put meon an antidepressant. Dr. Rios doesn't spend much time with you as a patient. He is a bit egotistical about himself and his knowledge. He would rather prescribe meds than think outside the box. He is also rude if you question his treatment plan. He practices the formula medicine of get them in and get them out.

For the past seven years, Dr. Rios has provided outstanding medical care for my wife and me. He is keen and thorough in both his diagnostic work and in his careful explanations of our health issues. Beyond his obvious exceptional medical knowledge and skills, he is patient, kind, and caring. All in all, he is an outstanding physician.

My 72 year old Spouse has many chronic medical problems and has been under Dr. Rios' care for greater than 10 years. Working as a R.N. has put me in touch with many Physicians and yet I have not encountered another Provider that comes close to Dr. Rios in practicing good, solid, medicine. I sincerely believe my husband would not be as well as he is today had he not had the benefit of Dr. Rios' knowledge and compassion.

Dr Rios has been my family physician for more than five years. Knowledgeable, takes time to talk with you and explain, always treated me with respect. I am an ICU RN and quite a few other RNs see him as well. Hands down the most competent, and all-around best, family physician I've ever had.

Dr. Rios is seriously the best doctor I have ever seen. My Dad thinks he is one of the best doctors and he himself is one (He goes to Rios as well). He is extrememly intelligent, takes his time with you, and all around actually cares. Best internal med I have ever been too. Instead of making me feel like I was being a hypochondriac like many others, he took me seriously. Found out there was something wrong and referred me to the proper specialist. I cannot say enough great things about him. His nurse Debbie is great too. Always calls back if you leave a message.

Dr. Rios has been my Primary Care M.D. for over 15 years. I have always found him knowledgeable, sensitive to my concerns and willing to answer any and all questions. I am very fortunate to have him as my physician.
