This doctor needs to be more understanding of patients experiencing a mental health crisis.

I am surprised by all of these comments, Dr Novak was the worst ER doctor I have ever had. I came in in an ambulance for a bike accident waited 4 hours to be seen. Once seen, provide no incite to how to recover best. Looked at scratches and bruises as opposed to neck and back which ended up being much more severe. Escalated a lady with a twisted ankle above some one hit by a car while on a bike? Questionable at best.

Dr Novak has an amazing bed side manner. Thanks you so much for your knowledge, kindness and understanding. I wish you were my MD for all things. Very calm and reassuring individual. Intelligent and takes time to answer questions to ensure you're comfortable.

Very calm, you can sense he knows his stuff extremely well, I felt confident he took care of my problem. Consider yourself very lucky if at this time of pain and confusion at Emergency he will be treating you. I wish other doctors were able to do at least 30% of what he can.

I saw Dr Novak tonight at the Oshawa emergency and he was wonderful. His professionalism, knowledge and genuinely kind manner put our concerns at ease. What a lovely doctor. He took time with us, truly listened to my concerns and reassured us through an ultrasound. I could have hugged him! I wish more doctors were like Dr Novak, the world would be a better place. Thank you again Dr Novak!
