When I first started going to Dr. James I was impressed with her and the staff. In the most recent years however the staff has changed. One employee in particular (who is important to the patient) has left the office. This has made a large impact on the quality of service after the office visit. Mail order prescriptions are very difficult to get renewed and feedback from doctor prescribed test(s) are often set aside for weeks on end without a follow-up phone call thus requiring a patient initiated phone call for test results. More often than not, the phone call results in finger-pointing and an angry tone of voice to the patient. Too bad because I am happy with Dr. James. The problem 'appears' to be that staffing is arranged and controlled by a group instead of each individual doctor. I cannot imagine that Dr. James would be happy to know that her staff is rude or lax in doing what is required for the care of her patients.

Dr James is an excellent doctor. I am always so nervous when I have to have my yearly physical - she and her staff are friendly and put me at ease in no time - and I never seem to wait very long. She is thorough and compassionate - and even has a great sense of humor! I would recommend
Dr James to everyone - I think she's the best in town!

I was blessed with finding Dr. James. I almost went to another doctor, I'm so grateful I didn't. I had left a lousy doctor and was very sick. I was having diabetes-like symptoms which was scaring me. My first visit she takes me into her office and discusses it with me which was so amazing because I was scared and it was nice being in her office which was more comforting then the exam room. She had me do some tests and she figured out I was Anemic. She had me come back about a month after she put me on supplements and I was feeling great. A few weeks later I came down with a miserable cold and yet again she saved the day. The last 2 visits did seem a little rushed but the office is busy and I'm not complaining because a busy doctor is a good doctor. Everyone wants to see the good doctor. But she's never to busy to listen to you. She's just plain great. I couldn't be more pleased.

Dr. James is the most intelligent and thorough doctor I have ever been to. She spends time with the patient and actually listens to everything you say. She leaves no stone unturned in finding a diagnoses or treatment. Her nurses are top notch as is the entire office staff.

Dr.James is a caring, dependable, knowledgeable physician. She is always up to date on what is occuring in the medical/pharmaceutical world, but remains sensible and and true to her calling. Her compassion for her patients is appreciated and always evident. She always has time for you- and spends her valuable time finding out what is going on in her patients lives- they are REAL people to her, not just bodies to work on. Her staff is excellent-she would have none other- and her office is well and compassionately run. You will always get a call-back if you need one-but usually can still speak to a REAL person when you call -not an answering machine-and that is outstanding in this world. You know that with Dr. James you are in good hands and will get the best care her high standards can deliver.

Dr. James stays very current regarding changes and/or additions in the medical field. She is by far the most thorough, hands on primary physician I have ever had. Her office runs like a well oiled machine, because she IS so hands on. Her desire to excel as a physician is obvious. I am highly selective when choosing a physician, and heard nothing but praise from people who were her patients at the time I felt the need to change my primary physician. These many years later, it is so reassuring when another of my doctors asked name of my primary physician, I tell them and get the same response each time, "you have a GOOD doctor." Her peers have spoken - many times.
