Had a very difficult time with a laparoscopic surgery in May 2017. Dr. Mctammany was not available after my surgery, and does not have hospital privileges. He was dismissive of all that I went through. Multiple hematoma due to his procedure followed by infection which caused hospitalization. Required 2 units of blood and IV antibiotics. Post surgical visit, he felt that all of my issues did not require hospitalization.

Poor outcome after laparoscopic surgery. Pre surgical visit not mandated. His surgery center hastily discharged me. In fact I blacked out getting out of my car going home. Poor follow up from his surgery center. Had poor medical reasoning post hospitalization needed due to hematoma and cellulitis. He even had the audacity to challenge the need for antibiotics when I was in the hospital. He does not have hospital privileges. In fact when the ER doctor called him, dr mctammany ignored my dropping hemoglobin and dr mctammany told the ER doctor that I should go home. I tried to call dr mctammany but the answering wervice would not let me talk with him since I was in the ER. I wanted to know what dr mctammany medical process would be and why he wanted me to not be admitted to the hospital. I knew I felt terrible, pain, no energy so I requested to stay in hospital. I did end up receiving 2 units of blood. Cellulitis became full blown. Needed IV antibiotic s. Was in hospital for 5 days!

Had an exemplary experience many years ago but clinical services are much declined.

Poor outcome with recent laparoscopy surgery. Not satisfied with dr mctammany s medical management. Had worked with dr mctammany 13 years ago with exemplary results and care. Soooo disappointed this time.

I was bleeding abnormally. Some tests were done but came back as normal. I was told that meant I was fine, but I doubted that bleeding was fine. When I asked if any more tests could be done, I was told no, was snapped at by the nurse, and was told again that I was fine and there was no need to worry. Thankfully, I got a second opinion by going to a new a new clinic and seeing an ARNP. At the other clinic, the ARNP immediately guessed what was wrong, and ordered a specific blood test. It turns out that I have an autoimmune disorder. If I'd trusted that everything was fine, then I'd have gone untreated. I cannot recommend this clinic.

I had a VBAC with him and he was amazing my entire pregnancy and delivery! He knew just what to do and when, while being supportive and knowledgeable. He made sure me and my baby were safe and was just all around great the entire time! I would highly recommend him to anyone in brevard county, but especially for any mom who wants to do a VBAC. I can only hope that any future pregnancy will be spent in this area so that i can have my next baby with him too!! Hes the best! 😊

I had very good experiences with Dr. McTammany. A friend of mine recommended him when I had a pretty serious medical issue. He offered me a solution and even walked an extra mile for me when surgery needed to be done. Since then he also helped me to deliver my second baby which was a pleasant experience as well. Simply the best doctor I have ever met.

I found out I was pregnant at 20 y/o and I was sent to McTammany because he was the closes who took my insurance. Everyone had always told me good things about him so I was excited. Although, when I would go to see him he was ALWAYS late by 10-30 min. When I would get seen the appointment was only 2 min. When I would make my aptmt I was treated like "yep another young mom" by the staff. When I was close to the end I called to talk to the dr because I thought I was in labor and the nurse(kim) WAS SO RUDE I couldn't believe it! Finally at 38 weeks he gave me a membrane sweep on thurs and fri night I started to contract BAD. When I called the nurse was rude again. Saturday I went the hospital because he said and my contractions were 2-5 min apart and sent me home. I had to suffer all weekend with a bulging water bag until Monday when he was at the hospital. Then I pushed for 6 hours and he never checked on me. Come to find out my daughter was stuck and was plunged out. worst experience.

I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years. I had 1 of the best Gyn Doctors when I lived in Ocala. I never thought I could find another Dr who was as qualified, caring and compassionate but I found that in Dr. McTammany. I do not find it easy to open up about certain things but with him; he made me feel like I could and now I can tell him and ask him ANYTHING! His nurses are phenomenal as well as his entire office staff. My daughter is now pregnant and due any day now with her 2nd child. She is now going to him. He welcomed the fact that I was going with her to some OB appointments and didn't fuss at all when I asked questions. My daughter loves him and I am thrilled that he will be bringing my granddaughter into the world. Not at all like her 1st child with a Dr who didn't give a hoot and belittled my daughter and found it weird that I was at her OB appointments. I highly recommend Dr McTammany for ANY of your OB/GYN needs!

Best doctor I've ever had. he delivered my mothers twins and is soon to delivery my son. his office is very sweet and helpful.
