Mc Tammany is a lay back doctor. He seems to trusts the natural process of pregnancy and birth. He allowed me to refuse any interventions I didn't want. (Of course he explains the pros and cons.) My only gripe is that his office staff sent my blood work to a lab not covered under my insurance. They should be more careful. In a previous pregnancy I was sent to out of network provider for an ultrasound. I had to pay out of pocket for that ultrasound.

I feel that sometimes he rushes. He doesn't have new machines that he can have his patients hear the baby's heart beat. Most times he is unprofessional. I think maybe he is tired of his profession. First 2 times I had to wait over 45 mins to see him. His office décor is terrible as well. Doesn't suit the happy ambience mood. Always advertising his spouse botox in his office as well.

I might be able to sleep tonight, thanx to Dr. McTammany & his wonderful staff. My dr sent me home last week with a deceased fetus in me & as of today they have not called to check on me. It was a blessing to get in with this dr today. I am scheduled for a D&C tomorrow and will follow up to ensure we find out what is causing my miscarriages. Thank you for treating me like a Mommy who just lost a child rather than just an insurance check. God Bless You & your Staff!

Good OB doctor. Not a very good GYN doctor. If you are having serious GYN problems, do your homework and consider someone else. Dr. McTammany has been sued twice already. He should stick to catching babies as they come out, and nothing else.

Amazing doctor! I was so impressed at the way McTammany put my wife's heart at ease when she had to unexpectedly have a C-Section after a day of labor. He was also available to consult us personally multiple times during my wife's problematic pregnancy. Not once did we have to speak to anyone else.

Excellent doctor, good bedside manner, and a great personality. Always kept visits comfortable and friendly. I would recommend in a heartbeat. Never felt bad about asking anything, and always was super quick with my paperwork.

I have been seeing Dr McTammany for 13 years. That says it all. Would never consider changing doctors!

During my pregnancy I never had any person as helpful as Dr. McTammany. He wasnt my doctor until week 39 due to the fact my doctor could never attend my appointments! So i ended up changing to him, and he was an amazing OBGYN! Would recommend him to EVERYONE!

Dr. Mctammany is the BEST doctor around. He delivered my first baby has been my gyn since that and will be delivering my second baby as well. I love Susan his L.P.N. she is awesome always has the most pleasant attitude and loves what she does. They are great.
