After seeing other reputable people, here in Colorado Springs, for hearing loss and not getting the help I needed, I began an online search.
I located an ear specialist in Joseph L. Hegarty, M.D. made an appointment the experience was nothing short of sensational.
After his thorough examination, he recommended I see their Audiologist Michael liff, Au. D.
That experience was amazing, his expertise, empathy and honesty was a game changer in regard to my hearing!
Frankly, "this is as good as it gets!" So if you're struggling with your hearing in any way make an appointment with Dr.
Hegarty.
You will be glad you did.

super friendly staff and doctor but my 30 minute "new patient" exam cost $1102 Most line item codes cost 3 to 4 times what is considered reasonable and customary. My primary doctor performed the exact same tests during my standard "over 50 "physical for a 10th the cost. No suggestion for treatment of tinnitus even though that was my main reason for the visit. A waste of $1102.

Thank you for your review and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit. However we would like to point out that $1102 you refer to is simply the billed charges sent to your insurance company. They do not represent the actual cost of the visit or what our office will be paid by your insurance company, and patients are never billed that amount for those services. They are, as you described, much higher than actual reimbursements.

Saved my life. I'm serious. Dr. Hegarty and his PA Allison saw me for dizziness and ear issues and noticed my heartbeat was not regular. Now I am way better thanks to how observant they are. If only my primary care doctors were as good. Thanks for caring Dr. Hegarty!
