This doctor treated my mother for Lupus. She was uncaring. She left my mother on steroids for a few years. We sought the help from a SLU rheumatologist but it was too late. My mother passed away. Don't go to this doctor.

Ive been waiting a month for a pre-auth, I'm the mean time, calls are never returned, Dr. Hoffman lost the best thing, when Kim left. Ordered blood work for something that is already in my file that they know is ALWAYS negative.... very uncaring, office staff is ridiculous... looking for a new Rheumatologist..im sure there are many more as well qualified as Dr. Hoffman with better bedside manner and better office staff.....

This doctor kept me in her office over 3 hours, spent less than five minutes with me, did not listen to me at all, ordered expensive tests that were already in my record, prescribed drugs I told her I could not take.

If you want mass confusion, unfulfilled promises from the doctor, having inappropriate comments made by staff, this doctor is for you. She shut down her office twice last year, not notifying patients of the closing and each time her phone number changed. Treatment promised by the doctor was never fulfilled due to staff not doing their jobs. Her office door should have a warning sign on it. Unbelievable !!

I am so annoyed with trying to reach the staff in this office for prescription refills. I have literally been calling for two weeks and most times (even though its at the time they are supposed to be open) I get the message the office is closed, that's only when you don't get a fast busy signal. For goodness sakes--get your phone fixed! The message also says prescription refills are not an emergency--well they are if you can't reach anyone to get them refilled! I once left this doctor for this very reason and then returned because she is so knowledgeable, but her staff and office policies are horrible. I have never ran across a business ran so badly. Please Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Kim--get some good people so I don't have to look for another doctor again.

The staff is absolutely horrendous. Pre-authorizations take a painful amount of time with absolutely no concern for the patient. Billing is terrible and forget having to call to get questions answered. Half the time the phone doesn't work and when you get through to someone you are met with "I don't have time for you or your concern" attitude. Kim and Dr. Hoffman are great. Unfortunately for them, getting past their staff is such a miserable problem that their expertise and compassion for their patient is completely overshadowed by the office staff that works for them. 0 rating for the staff and a 4 for the doctors.

They are the worst at taking care of pre-authorizations. I realize they area a busy office but a month of waiting is ridiculous. Dr. Hoffmann is wonderful. Nurses are wonderful, but whoever answers the phone to deal with questions is rude, unprofessional, and needs a lesson in dealing with public.

Tried to make an appointment for my husband and was on hold for over 30 minutes. Once my call was actually answered the person was very snappy and rude. As it would be over a month to get him in, I decided not to make an appointment. Because my husband was in pain he told me to call back and make an appointment, but before I did I did some research and found this site. After reading how rude the staff is, there is no way I would take my husband to see this doctor, I don't care is she is really great. Your staff reflects directly on you, Dr. Hoffmann, and if you are willing to keep staff that is this rude and uncaring, I am surprised you stay in business.

I love Dr Hoffman. She is amazing and has been such great help for me. I'd recommend her to anyone. Just make sure you plan to wait. She is very thorough and takes her time.
