I have had type I diabetes since I was two. This doctor is the best doctor you could possibly have for your child. He is so kind and incredibly comforting especially when trying out new medications that children might be anxious about. I don't have enough kind words for him!

Dr Metzger is absolutely excellent. I went to see him for gender dysphoria (female to male) after being referred by Dr. Christ Booth. He was extremely kind and helpful, as others have said making it personal and not just about the meds, but he is also excellent with all the medical side of things.

Dr Dan was my son Nicholas Dr for 12 years. He is by far the best doctor Nicholas has ever seen. We travelled 6 hours every 6 months and it was well worth it. We are very fortunate in BC to have him. Cant say enough great things about this guy. We sure do miss him. He also has a good personality.

Truly the most friendly, caring and kind physician I have ever had. Always makes the visits personal instead of just focusing on the meds. However, my one concern is that over the 2 year course of him treating me with testosterone for gender dysphoria, he did not once order an endocrine screening; I never got my hormone levels checked before, during or after treatment.

BEST DOCTOR EVER! When our daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 1.5 years of age we didn't know what to expect. Dr. Metzger has always been so kind and informative. He is great at making our daughter comfortable as well. We continue to see him and I am so glad he is her doctor.
