Dr Eeson is definitely an excellent surgeon. I'm so lucky to be his patient.

My gallbladder was at gangrene stage. I was rushed to KGH Emergency. During my worst health crisis of my life, Dr. Gareth Eeson gave me hope. The next day Laparoscopic surgery result was tremendous. I felt great, walked normal and pain killer free. Dr. Gareth Eeson is an excellent surgeon who cares and loves his patients like family.

Return of cancer noted on MRI on different organ. Showed me the scan which no Dr. has ever done, explained best process for treatment before major surgery can be done. Always so kind & understanding of my emotions. Feel very fortunate that he is my surgeon.

He was amazing, he noticed I had a serious problem when most dr didn’t.
He got me into surgery promptly, removed my broken mesh, he recognized my body could not have another mesh put back, when most dr disregarded my symptoms of rejection.
He did and amazing job on my repair, absolutely feel a thousand times better.
He is so nice, I would recommend Dr Eason to everyone.
Staff are also amazing, so kind and very helpful.

I never felt more comfortable with a surgeon. Such a caring attitude and doesn't mind conversation aside from the actual medical concern.

We would strongly recommend Dr. Eeson as a surgeon. I first met him when I was referred to see Dr. McCready at Princess Margaret when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. He spent at least an hour with me and my husband answering all of my questions about the diagnosis and treatment. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He works with such an excellent team that makes all the difference when you are faced with cancer.

Dr. Eeson is a wonderful doctor and a caring person. He took care of my mother following her surgery at Vancouver General Hospital for her bowel cancer. He was attentive, caring and lovely with our entire family. He was articulate and able to describe the surgery (with wonderful drawings!!). He is obviously very knowledgeable and trusted by the staff. He was always joking and kind with my mother and kept her motivated through her recovery. I can't say enough good things about him. He will be a great surgeon when he is done his residency.
