I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Rothenstein today. I was accompanying my Mother.
Dr. Rothenstein was very knowledgeable, spent a good amount of time with us. Not once did we feel rushed.
He asked numerous times if we had questions. After explaining multiple things, he asked my Mum to relay back to him what he explained, to be sure we understood everything.
Definitely a 5 star Dr.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2016 and have been a regular patient for the past 6 yrs. At the time of my diagnosis keytruda therapy was not available through the gov't. He looked into all forms of treatment for me and approved me for a trial through Merck. After receiving chemo and the immune therapy I am doing well. Dr. Rothenstein is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor whom is available at any time for me when i need follow ups, cat scans and sets me up for all appointments needed when a questionable issue arises. I have dealt with other oncologists for other family members and find Dr. Rothenstein to be unusually empathetic, understanding and willing to answer any questions I may have regarding my illness. He is a hard working and caring oncologist who is open to discussing any treatment I feel I need while dealing with my cancer. I know this experience would be a lot more scary without Dr. Rothenstein in my corner. His staff is also extremely friendly and available when I call. I have been blessed to have someone like the Dr. and his team in my corner.

This doctor showed up 2 hours late for a meeting with me and my mother while she was dying of cancer. He told me off for requesting this meeting to agree to treatment as I was "questioning his judgment". My mother was not capable of making this decision on her own due to her health. He asked her to beg for treatment, said it wasn't good enough. Told her when you can ask for me to save you life better I might consider treatment. She died a month later. He is a psychopath.
