Dr. Sinanan was quick, very efficient and did a great job. I'm always reluctant to receive freezing for my dental procedures but Dr. Sinanan has an uncanny ability such that I felt no pain what so ever. I recommend him highly. I don't need a "Mr. Personality" and he's, overall great.

During the few minutes I was there Dr Sinanan was rude, sarcastic, and condescending.
It seemed to be because I was there about a root canal he did several years ago, concerned with recurring pain and sensitivity of the tooth. His first comment was "I don't know why you are here".
He mentioned the tooth had a crack at the time of the root canal and it may have continued below to the root. I asked what could be done about it now and he said, "I don't know, go see someone who deals with that". His profoundly unprofessional manner will be reported.

Three of my friends including used his service recently. He is fast and friendly. I will highly recommend him to anyone who needs their root canal done. No pain and fast. Dentist may need you going back a few times, suffering for longer period.

He is rude and has a temper. Dr. Sinanna may be highly regarded in the endodoctics world as he also teaches at UBC. However, i do not respect him as a person. I would respect a janitor over Dr. Sinanan. He thinks that he is a doctor so he can threw his authority to anyone. He is not to be trusted and he will be definately be hearing from the College of Dentistry.

Dr. Sinanan needs to understand that this is Canada, not Trinadad!

Terrific endo! I had seen him many years ago and he was excellent. Plan to see him again. Highly recommended by another dentist I trust. Listen, your dentist does not have to be your best friend. Some of these ratings are not fair to Dr. S.

$90 for 10 mins consultation. In and out in 5 mins and no consultation. Instead, the receptionist explained the how procedure to me. Nothing but money in these peoples minds.

I had an apicoectamy done today by Dr. Sinanan. The whole procedure took approximately 45 minutes, about 15 for the freezing and then half an hour for the surgery. The dental assistant and Dr. Sinanan were extremely caring and made sure I had enough freezing to not feel anything during the procedure. The initial feeling of cutting the gum is unpleasant, but there was absolutely no pain. Half way through the surgery he told me that I was an excellent patient and told me that now he is finished with taking out the infection and all he needs to do is clean the canals and stitch me up. Overall, it was as pleasant of an experience as it could be. The receptionist in the end gives you extremely detailed instructions for recovery and provides you with an ice pack to take home. Highly recommend this dentist for everyone who will be needing more complicated root canal related work.

My entire experience from start to finish was excellent, from the information and kindness of the receptionist to Dr. Sinanan's affability and expertise. Everyone was friendly, reassuring, professional and made my two visits (first for a consultation and then for the actual surgery -- apicoectomy) as smooth as possible. In fact, other than the needles required for freezing my mouth, the entire procedure WAS pain free. I was confident in Dr. Sinanan's skills and he provided clear information as to what I could expect, while being realistic as to what the outcome (a future dental implant) could be. I'm on Day 2 of recovery and I'm already off the pain killers and swelling is minor, even though I have sutures in my gums. Thank you Dr. S and team!

My experience was HORRIBLE!! I was extremely nervous and in tears prior to the procedure. Not once before or during the procedure did Dr Sinanan offer any reassurance. He was unkind and uncompassionate. He expected me to know if my mouth was frozen enough to start working and then was impatient when I didn't answer immediately. How would I know?! He doesn't communicate at all, not even during the procedure. He jabbed my lip with a needle, didn't apologize and then told me that he would likely do it again if I didn't open my mouth wider the next time. Never mind the fact that he hadn't told me he was about to stick another needle in my mouth. The drill was banging against my top teeth while he worked on my lower tooth, but he didn't care. Not once was my mouth suctioned during the procedure, even when saliva started running down my neck. I went to him because I trusted the dentist who referred me. I truly regret not Googling him first. This experience felt abusive. AVOID!!
