17 years ago, (in its own weird way), I had the fortune and pleasure of being operated by Dr. Sinanan. He was punctual, helpful and efficient. He was also polite and friendly. The procedure was amazing; executed with expertise and precision. After the surgery, Dr. Sinanan even gave me a discount, based on my low income wage (as a barista) at the time. Today, (May 27th, 2013), I had the privilege of having the same exact procedure performed by Dr. Sinanan again. It was like deja-vu. He came in right on time, and got down to it immediately. Boom-boom, In and out in less than an hour. Dr. Sinanan is a true professional. He has my highest admiration, and recommendation as both a surgeon and a person. Marco Escobedo.

The first time I saw him for my consultation he scared the crap out of me. He didn't say much and basically told me my root canal had gone bad and either he would go in and see it could be fixed or it would have to be pulled. I dreaded the day of the procedure and I was extremely scared but he did make a very weak effort to distract me prior to the surgery by pointing out his artwork in the clinic. His bedside manner is atrocious but he got the job done. I've had no problems since with that tooth although the recovery was awful.

Dr. Sinanan's manner may not be exactly "warm and fuzzy", and if that's important to you, you should go elsewhere. However, as someone who's had plenty of dental work done in his life, I can attest that he certainly knows what he's doing. He did a complex root canal retreatment on an infected tooth, and he not only froze me so well I had no pain whatsoever during the procedure, I had very little pain or swelling afterwards. A very professional job. If you value results more than a gentle bedside manner (and really, he's not that bad unless perhaps you're the very sensitive or anxious type), I can recommend him very highly.

He is the MOST rude and uncompassionate dentist I have ever met. I wish there was a grade below 1. I went to him 5 years ago for root canal. He didn't say a single word to me during the whole procedure. When I asked a question to verify something, he just gave me a piece of paper to learn on my own. His fee was not cheap either.

Thought Dr Sinanan did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone.I had three root canals and he did all three in short amount of time,

I recently had 3 root canals done by Dr. Sinanan. He is very competent and efficient, and does an outstanding job on the freezing (thorough and painless). He was also friendly, helpful and patient throughout the procedures, and frequently checked how I was doing.

S.K.Sinanan and his receptionist only know money. When you are there they will let you fill out a payment form and copy all your dental insurance info. They want you to allow them to charge you directly from your insurance. You then have to fill out another form for info about you and your company. They even ask you "is your company big". All they are doing is to find out what they can get from your insurance plan. The doctor even discriminates the dental work done from other places. The last form you have to fill out is the "quality consensus" indicating that "A perfect result is not guaranteed or warranted and cann't be guaranteed or warranted" (quoted).

I recently had an aweful experience. I expressed I had axiety, said I was nervous and frightened of needles, when I asked for the spray (Topical) he just replied no, I pleaded and said please the numbing spray he said no I don't have it and your wasting my time. I had several needles for the procedure each on I made a slight noise or sometimes hummed, it helped me get through it. He insulted me by saying it was annoying, distracting, and was I going to be making noises the whole time. Was he thorough yes I think so, but if you lack compassion and care for your patient in my eyes your not good at what you do. It was an aweful experience one that ended up in tears and I am still in pain.

Very mean doctor. Was short tempered with me and insulted me during the proceedure. Very upsetting experience.... his behaviour was very odd.

I would not go to any one else for a root canal. I have difficult teeth to work on, extra canals and long and irregular roots, so when I went elsewhere it was not a pleasant experience. Dr Sinanan was so quick( 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour-another endodontist took 4 hours), the procedure was painless and he was nothing but pleasant with me.
