I have only praise for Dr. Burton, and thank her from the bottom of our hearts in how she has helped our family regain their confidence and smiles back.
We knew the previous orthodontist, Dr. Pather and I think she is a true hero as she uprooted her life to step in and help him and his family while he was ill and until his death.
To the person who wrote the previous review, you never know the reasons why someone has decided to retire early, so I would advise never to assume or judge.
We wish her all the best in her retirement and hope the new owners will carry on the same caring and professional attitude that Dr. Burton has always shown to us and her patients.

Dr. Rano Burton is an incredibly nice, understanding and knowledgable orthodontist that I can never recommend.

Mid way during my treatment, she retired, leaving me with a new orthodontist that doesn't show up for critical checkups (when new aligners need to be ordered). The remaining staff at the office are absolutely terrible, booking an appointment is more painful than my aligners. This may not seem like an issue of Dr. Burton's, but reading other reviews on ratemd (and a bit of research), she seems to have a habit of jumping between different offices.

When you go through orthodontic treatment, you want to make sure you aren't planning on moving to a new city, etc. that would cause you to change orthodontists. You need to also be certain that your practicing orthodontist won't move/change practice - since this means headaches, stress, and prolonged treatment time.

If she comes out of retirement, do not trust her to stay around until your treatment is complete. I ignored the reviews here that said she moved leaving patients high and dry, and I'm now paying the price with having my treatment delayed by months.

Dr Rano Burton and staff are always pleasant and personable. My kids always feel at home when they go for there appointment. I never wait long for a appointment. I feel they also go the extra mile to make kids feel special.

Dr Rano Burton did a good job on my bottom teeth, but my top teeth are not completely straight. There is 3 teeth that are not in the right position. When she asked me if I was satisfied the first time, I told her no because of those three teeth. She said she would send an impression to the guys that make the invisilign trays and would "tell them off." The new trays came in, and they moved my teeth a little, but I still had the same issue. She said nothing more could be done, and asked me to sign the papers that the process was done. She was very pressuring to say the least.

We couldn't be more impressed with the experience we've had at Dr. Burton's office. Her staff is very friendly and accommodating when it came to scheduling. Dr. Burton's attention to detail is second to none. From start to finish every step of the way we were continually updated on the process and progression of our children's orthodontic treatment. The trust and confidence we had was everything we could have asked for . At every visit we felt like family. Our kids actually loved attending for the appointments! What more could you ask for in a medical / dental professional.
