I am extremely disapointed with Dr Prebble, I took my son there for an autism assesment, he did not do any tests on my son other than medical and just wrote a diagnosis letter and gave it to the school before even informing me. He never directed any questions to my son or referred me to anyone else. I have had to find someone else to get a proper assesment done. I have seen this dr in the past and found him very good but this time he did not seem interested or helpful and has caused me no end of trouble.

My last paediatrician really undermined my confidence and had left my really anxious about specialists in general, but Dr Prebble completely set me at ease. He's very positive and understanding and is happy to refer you to a range of services instead of just ignoring the issues or medicating the child. I felt like he really listened to me.

Although Dr. Prebble is a very knowledgeable and competent doctor, he has over-billed my elderly parent for services she did not need. For one instance, I had send an elderly parent to his office for a simply cleaning and found out later that he billed the insurance company for close to four hundred dollars. The second instance, his staff provided me with an appointment the following day. Early next morning I received a call from the office to reschedule my appointment two hours later. During that call, I was disconnected to the staff member. I called immediately back; and she informed that she gave may appointment to someone else. I tried to make a complaint to Dr. Preble both orally and written, but he and his staff has not even contacted me regarding this issue.

Dr Prebble missed diagnosing a very major complication with our son. I have been told that Dr Prebble wants to retire and is "winding down". Dr Prebble is a nice enough guy and I am sure he knows his stuff, but as my childs doctor i needed him to be on the ball. Our little boy went through 8 weeks of hell and it could have been avoided through propper diagnosis. I would erge Dr Prebble if he doesnt have the drive to do his job any more to seriously think about retirement and leave his position to doctors who really want to do the job.

A truly wonderful doctor, he cared for both of my sons - attended for their caesarean deliveries, checked their health immediately after their births, and cared for them while in hospital (second son born 5 weeks early & stayed in special care for 6 nights). A truly caring, compassionate, genuine doctor, lovely bedside manner and a heart of gold. I can't praise him highly enough, I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a paediatrician, he is truly lovely and never makes a person feel silly. Listens to all questions and concerns and takes you seriously. I would not consider taking my children to anyone else other than Dr Prebble - he is a true gem!
