Dr. Iglar has been my Family Doctor for over 7 years and I feel privileged. I don't have my family here but I feel very safe and secure, he's like the both to me - family and doctor. Always taking care and paying attention to details, very knowledgeable, professional, always on time and very well organized. When I was admitted to Emergency, he always called to check how I was doing and to make sure I got a proper and complete treatment. There's a long list of why I do love living in the heart of our city but the number 1 is to live in a walking distance from St. Michael's Hospital (all the staff working there are truly AMAZING) and to have Dr. Iglar as my Family Doctor. I'm truly grateful!

I find Dr. Iglar often dismissive of some of the symptoms I'm experiencing and doesn't want to make the effort to help me resolve them, just because they are not serious/urgent symptoms.

Karl Iglar is a negligent and un professional doctor, I needed to have a mole removed near my ankle. In a passive aggressive effort to not do it he lied to me and said that he was short on supplies. I assured him that if he actually looked he would find them. He then produced the necessary tools and did the procedure but got an extremely untrained resident doctor to do the stitching in a extremely loose way which left the wound open and vulnerable to infection. He saw it and intentionally didn't make an attempt to get it done properly. It is now severely infected. He is a negligent and possibly malicous doctor.

I would have given him 1 star if only based on my last experience , but my other experiences were pretty good so I give him 2. My one star experience I became very sick in January, had a negative C-19 test and after a few questions/answers done on the phone by the staff STAFF I was sent to ED. I felt neglected & Ignored.

I have seen Dr. IGLAR for several years and have always been astounded by his professionalism. His knowledge about health problems and the path for treatment is unparalleled. You can tell when discussing your health with him that he is very eager to figure out how to best help you and put you on the right track. He asks lots of questions to assure he has an in depth analysis and can accurately make a recommendation. He is very busy, sometimes booked months in advance, but will make the effort to see you as soon as he can even if it means going out of his way or after hours. He has never hesitated to run blood work, offer the option of referral to specialists, or discuss the possibility/necessity of medications or alternative treatments. He provides extra informational resources via secured hospital email if you need them. He is incredibly serious, but do not be intimidated by that, he’s not trying to be cold or rude! You will have such confidence in him that you will feel very protected and very relieved that your health is in his hands. Consider yourself very fortunate and very lucky to have this guy as your doctor. :)
