Biography

Dr. Memon is a fellowship trained and board-certified Infectious Disease specialist. He received his medical training at Liaquat Medical College in Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan. This was followed by an externship in Emergency Medicine at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Memon served his internship in Internal Medicine at LDS hospital in Salt Lake City, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. He qualified for the Palliative Medicine Board through practice pathway, and completed a fellowship in Infectious Disease at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Memon has served as an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Disease at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, where in 2013 he received the House Staff Teaching Award. Dr. Memon worked as an Internist/Hospitalist at Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal, Utah and also served as a Chief of Staff for the hospital. A member of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Memon is also a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America and the American Association of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
