I love Dr Rupp. He has always been helpful and positive. Overall I have had a very good experience with both him and his office.

Would not refer Dr. Rupp to friends or family. Certainly not as a gastroenterologist. Doesn't seem to be up to date with current porcedures. Also, his staff is rude. There are better Gastroenterologist in the Kent County area.

Very poor bedside manner. Did not answer my questions. When I expressed concerns about taking a certain medication he laughed. When I asked about followup he said "You feel good. You don't need followup." This is not what I read about the need for followup on my disease. I quickly knew more about my disease than Dr Rupp.

I love Dr. Rupp. He has been nothing but helpful, kind, caring and is very knowledgable. I have seen him numerous times for office visits, colonoscopies and endoscopies and have always received the upmost care. Dr. Rupp has offered his assistance and was willing to go over and beyond the call of duty to assit me. His nurses are also wonderful and helpful. My phone calls are always answered promptly and my questions are always completely answered and procedures have always been thoroughly explained. I would (and have) recommend Dr. Rupp--he is a great doctor!

Check in time/appointment time was explained.Staff was very helpful in changing appointment. The Meds used were great, remembered nothing, just as expected. Dr and staff were friendly and introduced themselves. Every thing was explained to my husband, because the patient isn't expected to remember anything. Husband has colonoscopy this week. Read the info sent before you go, very informative. Opposite experience of other people leaving comments.

I certainly do not recommend Dr. Rupp to anyone. A friend of mine went to him for a routine colonoscopy and suffered serious complications. Find a different doctor.

My husband was referred to Dr. Rupp for an endoscopy. They told us our appt. was at 3:30, for which we arrived very early. Then they told us that 3:30 was the “check-in” time; the actual procedure wasn’t until 4:00. So we ended up sitting around for an hour before they called us. The scope itself went smoothly, although it felt more like an endoscopy assembly line than an office. Dr. Rupp didn’t even meet with us before the procedure, and talked to us for all of five minutes afterwards. Plus, my husband was so heavily medicated he didn’t even remember what Dr. Rupp said. (Dr. Rupp knew this would happen.) A few days later, he cancelled our follow-up appt. and had his nurse call us with a jargon-filled diagnosis and a prescription. We had to visit our PCP (Gerald Lee) just to see the test results and have the diagnosis explained. Dr. Rupp cannot even be bothered to see his own patients, and hands out meds like candy. Avoid him and take your business elsewhere.
