Horrible services every time I go and never fully listen to the patients needs

this hospital is complete trash, the only Decent thing about it was the Doctor, Benoit other then that dont come here.

During a recent (December 16) I required emergency medical attention and and an evaluation at the emergency. The service I experienced was excellent. The response time of the paramedics that morning and the hospital staff on duty were friendly and professional. We appreciated the ongoing communication they gave on what testing and treatment I would be receiving. In addition, Dr. Price the emergency physician on duty that morning was excellent. NGH is very irresponsible when it comes to keeping information needed to be provided given to their doctors or the institutions they refer to give out treatments. I cant tell you how many times they will loose or just not send anything. If you go back to get it redone they will refuse to do it and say the famous line "It's a waste of tax payers money." so bi weekly for the last 8 years I have been getting $700-$900 taken off my pay cheque to provide these services, so can I get my hard earn money back because you not doing your job and this facility is incapable of doing their job properly

I and my family have received outstanding care at Norfolk General. This includes diagnoses, surgeries, and emergency medicine. The Human resources department must have a knack for hiring experts in their fields who are also gifted in the area of providing information to patients and at that, with great empathy. I would choose this hospital and staff above those in Hamilton or Toronto any day! Parking is a flat rate of $7.00 and the staff worth its collective weight in gold.

Watched a nurse have her spouse bring HER CHILD in - who was ill - like all the other kids in the ER. Only her son didn’t wait 5 hrs like the one year old I seen coughing just as hard . The little boy was carried out in his nurse mommy’s arms as she left for the day . SHAME ON YOU ! Horrible people and sad to see a one year old wait over 5 hrs to be seen while you r staff rushes their own children through! One lady waited 10 hrs - Covid patients waiting with others WHO ARENT INFECTED!

Infection Control needs to watch staff. Staff not following patients' Infection rules. Volunteers friendly. Staff nurses spend more time complaining about each other than working. Doctors and ER nurses great.

I've had reason to use this hospital several times. Each and every time, I've received excellent care! Triage was fast and attentive. I was quickly processed and expedited to have my pain managed. After being admitted, I was booked for surgery the following day. My surgeon was talented and personable and very caring. My nursing staff...again, caring and responsive. I've only encountered one nurse, on my 3rd emergency room visit that was less than compassionate. She was frazzled and short-tempered. Perhaps she was juggling too many patients? I found the hospital very clean! Sure, it's an older hospital so you can expect wear and tear. The bathrooms were spotless. I wouldn't hesitate to use this hospital. ER wait times - well, there isn't an ER that I've been in over the last 15 years when I didn't have to wait long hours to be seen. This didn't happen at Norfolk General.

Went in for shortness of breathe, didn’t take more than 2 minutes looking or talking to me and just wrote me a prescription and sent me home. No actual care was apparent in my visit.

I have been there 3 time with my heath problems, had a good group of doctors. now for the staff crazy, not trained, giving drug that do not belong to you, very upsetting. Did not follow doctors requests, doctor was very upset. Food, do not eat very bad
