horrendous to say the least, waiting 4 hours and only 2 people getting any kind of care? the nurses are rude and the doctors don't do what they are meant to, only giving half the care and not doing any testing before trying to write a prescription to get you to leave. worst experiences tend to happen in this ER.

Horrible hospital that I would not even bring my dog too. They are overconfident and unqualified nor to mention unprofessional.

The good news is that Dr. Russell and the nursing staff did a good job cleansing and stitching up my foot. The bad news is it took over 8 hours of waiting!!

Spent almost 6 hours in emergency bleeding at 15 weeks pregnant. Triage told me that it was a late night for ultrasound. Doctor sees me almost 6 hours later and says no they don't do ultrasound today (could have had they triaged appropriately and seen me when I arrived or told me not to bother waiting). Did not even bother to check the heart beat or do an exam. Then asked me why I was upset and asked me to come wait tomorrow. I recommend driving to the city. Don't waste your time here as ill be heading to one of the cities today to wait again.

Still waiting here 4 hours later with a miscarriage and they just all sit around like nothings going on. I’ve asked them they said they’re waiting on results but that was 3 hours ago…. Don’t come here if you wanna waste your whole day and night for Them to treat you like crap, And have no care in the world

The worst triage wait times and the worst wait times after triage. Lost of staff hanging out in the back chatting but not much in the way of even fair patience service!

N G H does not stand for Norfolk General Hospital. It actually stands for Never Going Home! A nurse actually said that to us when my mom was a patient. It was true my mom never came home. And she should not have died, she wasn’t that ill.

Do not send your loved ones here for Extended Care. They are absolutely worthless. They are miserable individuals who give less than mediocre care. Horrible place. Nursing staff and supervisors need to learn they own policies and policies and procedures. Our loved came out worse than what they went in. They should be reported or mistreatment of patients. No communication. Harassment. Absolutely disgusted with this facility.

As an out of province family member of my sister, who was admitted to a unit in the hospital, I was very pleased to speak to Lynn - nurse in charge on a unit she was admitted to. LYNN was respectful & helpful, And i felt concerns were heard. Thank you Lynn for you time and compassion. Only services could be rated

This hospital is horrific. Have been here 6 hours and still waiting have not seen a doctor or a janitor to clean anything especially during COVID. It is completely unacceptable and this hospital and safe should be written up. I will never visit this hospital again, I will drive the extra distance to get better care!
