I read all of the previous reviews on here, and it made me nervous to go into my appointment today. I was anxious and expecting a dismissive, arrogant egomaniac as that is how the large majority of these reviews described him. I was also expecting to wait a long time, as the reviews state he is NEVER on time and they've waited hours for a 3 minute appointment. He called me into his office after 15 minutes of waiting, listened patiently to my issues and concerns, provided solid advice, a diagnosis and a treatment plan. Gave me tissues when I cried. He was extremely kind and really seemed to care that I've been suffering. Don't believe everything you read on here. Maybe it varies based on experience, but mine was extremely positive and Dr. Bajaj really helped me take a giant step forward in my life today.

I had the same negative experience as most of the commentors . In fact I told him he needed to be more sensitive to individuals with mental health issues.

This doctor was my psychiatrist in the unit and to say he was horrible would be an understatement. He removed a medication cold turkey that you are never supposed to remove because of the withdrawals even though I never abused it or taken more than prescribed. He constantly threatened discharge despite suffering horribly. When I made a complaint against him, the very next day, he called the ministry of transportation to suspend my license. He is arrogant and vindictive. The fact that he deals with people in crisis and takes advantage of the situation is concerning. My time under his care set back my recovery by a long time and added trauma to my experience. I can’t believe someone like him is allowed to practice despite the cruelty he displays.

Knowledgable, detail-oriented, and helpful. Got me the mental health help I needed.

Wow what a joke this guy is. If you are suffering from any kind of depression or anxiety, be prepared for this clown to make it worse. Waited for hours to him with no one else waiting, took all of 3 minutes to write some chicken scratch on the medical statement. Refused to write any detail about the diagnosis, treatment plan, and prognosis. Both him and his nurse make you feel like you’re stupid for even coming into the emergency room instead of seeing your family doctor which you don’t have because yours retired and Ontario has a crisis of none being available. Would highly recommend avoiding this guy if possible.

Absolutely horrible care provided for my friend. Doesn’t answers calls, doesn’t meet with family, doesn’t care for his patient’s well being before releasing them from the hospital. Whether someone is suicidal or manic he looks at them and lets them go without any treatment, plan of care or prescription. What a joke of a human. You took an oath to ensure the safety of people in your care.

HUH he is one bad person. indeed..if you get him you will be sorry..he is arrogant and no manners and the way he looks at a person is scary.HE gave me 3 min that is it. and he literally stormed out of room..YOU no like your job then get the H out,.Disgusting person and not a good doctor at all...case closed..I would not even call him a doctor,,BUT I stood up to that P..and will NOT ever see him again..NEVER..I told him off big time..

I have been with dr Bajaj for a few years now. He has listened to my concerns and has helped me significantly. I truly appreciate him.

Is there something wrong with this Dr? Why become a psychiatrist if you don't want or care to help the people you are treating? Minimal questions asked most likely because he doesn't care to hear the answers because he is too focused on rushing through the appointment.

This Psychiatrist does not care or at least comes off like he doesn't care. I was directed to attend the hospital after a telephone appointment with my regular psychiatrist so I became an inpatient at lakeridge health psychiatry and was assigned this Dr. At first he agreed that I needed to restart my meds but then it didn't happen and I was left in limbo for the weekend as they don't come in on the weekends. I had to bring this up 2 more times before he restarted my meds. He started telling me that I'll need to learn how to cope with my symptoms and started listing symptoms I don't even suffer from making me believe he did absolutely no research about me from my chart or from my actual psychiatrist. I truly believe this individual has a problem with women and he gives you less then 3 mins of his time. Also discharged me based solely on what I told him and to be honest I was still feeling impulsively suicidal!
